The questions from Dewey and Sheriff Burke hadn't taken very long, yet Belle wanted nothing more than to get away from it.

She wanted to get away from everything concerning Casey Becker and Steven Orth. Maybe it was because Stu had woken her up talking about their insides being out, or maybe it was simply because talking about the murder of two fellow Woodsboro High students wasn't how Belle enjoyed spending her free time.

She had walked back to her class, glad it was nearly over and waited patiently for the bell to ring and signal the end of it.

When it did, Belle practically ran to her third period class. She wanted to avoid the following people;

Stu. She didn't feel like listening to him bring the murders back up for the fifth time that morning.

Randy. Good intentioned and caring as he was, he too had started their first conversation of the day with the the deaths of Casey and Steve. Belle was sure he could tell he'd upset her and didn't feel like having to assure him it wasn't his fault at all.

Sidney. Chances were, Sidney would be upset about Casey and Steve due to her mother being brutally murdered as well. Belle didn't want to seem insensitive, but she frankly didn't care and didn't want to be reminded that two more people were dead.

Tatum. Tatum liked to gossip and as handy as that trait could be, it was not when two people were dead and Tatum would surely like to discuss possible suspects.

And finally, Billy Loomis. Sidney's boyfriend. Billy was extremely good looking and Belle had to assume this was the only reason Sidney had ever agreed to go out with him. Billy had scarcely talked to Belle outside of the main group for the ten plus years they'd known each other. He'd honestly given Belle the creeps for the longest time. Hell, she wouldn't be surprised if he was the murderer. Given that Belle didn't feel like being the next victim, she felt it was best to avoid being alone with Billy, whether she had reason to believe it was him or not.

The last class period before lunch went by fairly quickly. Belle had hardly paid any attention to her government class and had rushed out of that door too.

Principal Himbry could be heard over the loud speaker ("Remember, your principal loves you and wants you to be safe!") as Belle made her way out the fountain she knew she'd find the five people she wanted to avoid sitting at.

Randy and Billy were already there when Belle made it. Billy was laying, propped on his elbow. Randy was sitting with a pack of grapes a few feet away. Belle watched as Randy picked up a grape and tossed it in to the air, catching it in his mouth ("Avoid strangers and walk in groups of 4 to 5!").

Belle sat in the small space between Randy's legs and leaned her head backwards on to his shoulder. She closed her eyes as she stared at the sky in silence other than Himbry's occasional remark ("It is strongly encouraged you go straight home after school!")
