Belle had to admit that trying to drive to the police station with a recently stabbed leg probably wasn't the best idea. It hurt like hell, had briefly started bleeding again, gave her a small limp, and made her realize there was now a gaping hole in one of her favorite pairs of jeans.

She hobbled past reporters and cops, shoving her way to the door. Upon entering, she found Sidney sitting in a chair, talking to Dewey. "Hey, Sid." she called, limping across the room.

Sidney was no idiot and easily noticed the limp. "What happened to you?" she asked, voice shaking from her attack yet worried all the same.

"You weren't the only stop on Billy's list. Stu showed up and he bolted, though." Belle responded, turning to show Sidney the blood-soaked gauze on her calf. "Oh my god! Are you alright?" Sidney exclaimed.

"I'm fine, how about you?" she responded, turning back to face Sidney.

"A little shaken up, but I didn't get stabbed,"

"I wouldn't have, but I fell up the stairs," Belle paused, "Where's Tatum?"

"On her way, I think," Sidney answered. Belle nodded slightly. The two sat in a comfortable silence for a second before Sidney started talking once again. "You know," she paused, "When I first got the call I thought it was some joke from Randy."

"I thought it was Stu at first," Belle informed her. Sidney looked like she was going to say something else, but was interrupted as Tatum came in through the back door. "Sid! Are you alright?" She practically yelled.

"I'm a little shaken, that's all. Billy went after Belle before he came to my house," Sidney answered.

"What? Belle are you alright?" Tatum asked, switching her mother-like fussing from one friend to the other.

"Peachy," Belle replied, turning to show Tatum her bloody leg.

"You got stabbed!" Tatum yelled so loudly that Dewey and every other cop in the station turned to look at the three.

It was Dewey that came rushing over before any other cop could. "Sid," he began, "You didn't tell us you were hurt!"

"I wasn't," Sidney said, pointing to Belle instead.

"Belle? Did Billy come after you too?" Dewey asked.

Belle nodded slightly, "He called first, I thought it was Stu. I hung up and turned around and he was standing there. I ran, but the door was locked, so I went upstairs in to my room. Then I had to go to the attic, but I fell up the stairs and he grabbed my leg and stabbed me in the calf.

"I kicked him in the forehead and managed to get into the attic, but he got up too. He was going to kill me, but Stu showed up. Scared him off, I guess, because he bolted after that."

Dewey looked at her, a little concerned. "What time was this?"

"Like 6:30." Belle answered, glancing around the station.
