It had been six days since Stu and Billy had been revealed as the killers. Belle was finally being released from the hospital.

Having been injured the worst, Belle was the last one getting to go home. They had made an entire thing out of it. Her parents, her older sister, Sidney, Mr. Prescott, Dewey, Mrs. Meeks, Martha, and even Gale Weathers had been waiting at her house when Randy drove her home.

It was the first time Belle had been home since she'd killed her brother (they had yet to replace the TV) and she was a little uneasy about going home.

Leslie, her sister, had promised to never let her out of her sight. Her mom and dad were glad she was alright, but understandably upset that their only son was not only dead, but also a psychopath.

Belle wasn't sure how she felt about Stu. On one hand, he was her brother, prior to the murders she would've trusted Stu with her life. On the other hand, he was crazy and had murdered one of her bestfriends (though that actually would've been Billy, Stu had been involved in the party when Tatum was killed), she couldn't simply forget about that part because he was dead.

Dewey, Belle was glad to see, was mostly alright. Although he now had a bad limp, best Belle could guess was that Stu had hit a nerve when he stabbed him in the back. In the time that followed the attacks, Belle and Dewey would grow rather close, desperately trying to fill the hole left by their deceased siblings.

Randy hadn't left Belle alone since he himself had been released from the hospital. Every single day he'd come by until the doctors kicked him out.

Sidney and Belle shared an unspoken grief over the death of Tatum, they continued to be close friends.

Belle found her time after her stay at the hospital being filled by a high number of funerals. Belle had attended the funeral of every single victim of Billy and Stu.

First was Steven Orth's. Belle didn't know Steve that well, other than the time they'd shared a table in the fifth grade.

His funeral was shortly followed by that of Casey Becker. Casey's mother was crying hysterically the entire time, Belle couldn't begin to imagine the pain she felt. Belle would leave flowers at Casey's grave every day until she left for college.

If you drove past the cemetery on the day of Principal Himbry's funeral, you'd see what appeared to be all of Woodsboro High's student body and staff standing by his grave. Belle couldn't believe the turn out. She wondered whether their principal had known how much his students cared for him.

Belle stood by Dewey's side for the entirety of his sisters funeral. She'd cried with him, still not believing the young girl was truly dead. Tatum had looked drop dead gorgeous (no pun intended) in her casket. She would've been proud.
