TW: Mention of a real world murder of a pregnant woman

Belle and Sidney turned so they were facing where the stage light had turned on.

"Looks like we're in act 3 now," Belle muttered.

"What's act 3?" Sidney asked.

"The big reveal," Belle replied.

Sidney moved her hand to halfway block the light, "Hello?" she called one more time.

"Seriously, Sid?" Belle whispered.

As the two girls were backing up, the set behind them came down with a loud bang.

Each direction they tried to run, the set wall would block their path before they could make it through.

The killer was toying with them.

The light was following them around wherever they went, always making sure that Sidney stayed directly in the center.

Sidney tried to push open a door on one of the set pieces, but it wouldn't budge.

The light left Sidney and Belle and zeroed in on something blue hanging to one of the fake trees located around the stage.

Sidney walked over to it and looked at it, the light once again shining on her. Belle couldn't help but notice that the blue sweatshirt hanging on the tree looked awfully like the one Derek had been wearing earlier that day.

The stage light turned off, leaving the two women in the dark on the stage. Belle was sure that the killer would be down on the stage in a matter of minutes.

Sidney screamed as a set piece fell from the ceiling. Somebody was tied to it, he was unconscious and in nothing but his boxers and a mask. There was either red paint or fresh scars on his skin in the shape of greek letters.

Sidney quickly pulled the mask off, revealing Derek as the man tied to the star, his mouth covered in duct tape.

Belle noticed a shallow, yet rhythmic, rise and fall of his chest. He was still alive.

Sidney yanked the duct tape off of his mouth. He didn't respond.

Before Belle could react, Sidney slapped Derek in the face as she yelled his name. His eyes fluttered open slowly.

She quickly moved to untie him, Belle going to his other arm to help.

"Oh thank god, Sid, I thought I was going to be up there until opening night," He mumbled with a small laugh.

"We need to untie these, we have to get out of here," Sidney muttered frantically, Belle could hear the fear in her friends voice as they struggled to untie Derek.

"Shit! Who tied these?" Belle yelled as she barely made any progress on her side.

"I don't know!" Sidney yelled, "God, he's after us, he killed Hallie," Sidney choked out to Derek.

"What are you talking about?" Derek asked.

"The Woodsboro copycat! Where have you been, dare-bear? Killed Maureen Evans, Phil Stevens, Cici, Randy, and now Hallie! Keep the fuck up! Dammit! I can't get it untied!" Belle yelled, frustrated with the knot, the killer, and the fact that Randy was dead, just another victim of Stu and Billy's making.
