I was looking around frantically looking for her it was getting late I couldn't here anyone behind me I still have my hand on my shoulder as I ran trying to ease the pain I got to the dock I looked around noticing there was a board that has fallen I ran over there and looked at the crates to see powder behind one of them

"wildflower" I got down on my knees pulling her into a hug "(n/n) i'm sorry" I pulled away from her to see that she was about to crying "about what" I stood up and reached out a hand so she could take it "I threw the bag in the water I had to I-" I pulled her in another hug trying to reassure her "I don't care about the bag I'm just glad you're safe" I pulled away and glad her hand to start walking "come on everyone else is looking for you"

I couldn't find anyone so I was guessing they were by the elevator we started to make our way and I was trying to reassure her that it was going to be ok

"there you two are what happen" Vi sounded worried I knew that she was worried about Powder "I found her hiding by the dock" I didn't let go of her hand as she inch closer to me "here's a question where is the bag" Mylo didn't look too happy "I umm I" I squeeze Powder's hand letting her know that I was here "I threw it over the dock" her voice was quiet as she said that

Mylo got right up in our face "you did what" I put Powder behind me as a way to protect her "i'm sorry I tried to fight him off with Mouser but... she didn't work" powder squeezed on the upper part of my arm to hide a little bit more which hurt my shoulder a little bit but I just bit my tongue "who saw that coming" Mylo put his hands up started to walk away "we never should have gone over there" Claggor sounded worried

I patted Powder's hands telling her to let go she did and I grabbed my shoulder "doesn't matter the stuff's gone" Vi walked over to us I leaned my body up one of the walls and put my head up "it's all right Powder at least you're ok" I pushed myself off the wall as I kept a hold of my shoulder "okay what about us I get my face bashed in not to mention (y/n) has been holding her shoulder since we got back and she just gets a pass" we all walked in the building making our way back to the elevator "yep" I stepped in the elevator standing by powder "what did you expect Mylo she's a kid she doesn't need to get her face bashed in" Vi turned on the elevator and it started to go down

"every time. every time she comes something goes wrong she Jinxes every job" I put an hand on her shoulder telling her not to pick a fight "just drop it Mylo" I put my arm around Powder pulling her clothes as Vi was looking at our home from the elevator

I saw that Vi put her hood up I remove my arm from powder because it was hurting a little bit because she was on the side of my injured shoulder she noticed this and gave me a pitiful look

once the elevator came to a stop we exit and started to make our way back to the last drop I was walking by powder keeping my hand on my shoulder trying to ease the pain I look to my right to see Mylo still an apple

the last drop finally got into view I tried to remove my hand from my shoulder to look like I wasn't injured but it didn't last long as we open the door I looked around but I couldn't see Vander I was hoping that he wouldn't notice us but a part of me knew that he would

We got downstairs and all took a seat Vi sat in the chair in front of us as me and Powder sat one of the couches and Mylo and sat in the other one I was leaning back biting my tongue not saying anything cause of how bad the pain was

"Vander learns none of this" I could tell that Vi was irritated "no worries there Powder took care of the evidence" I moved my head a little to glare Mylo "I tried ok you don't get it you're older you're bigger it, it isn't fair" I put my head back up as I listen to Powder try to explain "then stick with us take a punch or two" I looked at him again "shut it I don't wanna listen to you guys fight right now so just shut up" I bit my tongue again and looked up as I heard the door open

I didn't bother to look at who it was because I knew "everyone all right" I finally looked at him still biting my tongue though "never better" I gave him a slight nod "good" I looked back up not wanting to make eye contact with him "I don't suppose you can explain why it is that I'm hearing about an explosion and a foot chase topside? five children fleeing the scene" I knew this was rhetorical he knew that it was us already "what the hell were you thinking" I close my eyes trying to drown out the pain and try to listen "that we can handle a real job" I could tell that Vi wasn't happy "a real job" I could hear the concern in Vander voice "we got our own tip planned a route nobody even saw" I listen to Vi and Vander go back-and-forth "you blew up a building" I looked over to see him at the edge of the couch "that wasn't..." Vander cut off Vi before she could finish "did you even stop to think about what could've happened to you eh to them"

We all stayed quiet not knowing how to respond "where did you even get this tip" I wanted to wrap my arm around Powder to comfort her but I could barely even move it "we just heard it at Benzo's shop" I could feel his eyes on me and Powder "from" I looked over at him still holding my shoulder but trying to make sure it was to obvious "Little man" Powder scooted closer to me but I couldn't wrap my arm around her

"I took us there if you want to be mad be mad at me but you're the one who always says we have to earn our place in this world" I looked back up as I heard Vi yelling at him "I also told you time and time again the north side's off-limits we stay out of Piltover's business" I laid my head on Powder breathing heavily as I heard Vander and Vi go at it "why they've got plenty while we're down here scraping together coins when did you get so comfortable living in someone else's shadow" it was an uncomfortable silence that field the room
