AU#3 What happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

I was laying in my bed it was late at night and I was just reading a book it was about the history of the moon clan it was the last gift my parents gave me saying that I should learn about the history of our family now than later which was good since I had to have time to read it instead of being rushed through it

As I was reading I heard my door cracked open make me look up to see Mylo "hey sis are you awake" I put the book down on my lap as I looked at him "yeah i'm up what's going on" he just smiled as he closed my door behind him "oh you know I just thought since you've never really slept alone in a while you know because you always share a bed with Powder you aren't used to sleeping alone" I could tell he was nervous as he started fidgeting with his hands "yeah I know it's been a while but I should be good" he started to laugh a little bit nervous as he started to look around "are you sure because I don't mind Sharing a bed with you for a couple of nights" he started to laugh a little bit nervous as he put both of his hands in his pockets

"Mylo are you ok what's going on you know you can tell me anything right you're like my brother I won't judge you" he let out a small sigh as he started messing with his hands and hair "all right all right" he took in a deep breath as he walked a little bit over to my bed and sat down "I had a nightmare and before you say anything it was bad" I could tell that he was scared which was a new since you never really showed fear "Mylo what was it about you can tell me you know that" he took another deep breath as he laid down on my dad with his lags and feet dangling off "so you know how the building got exploded and I had that metal piece in my chess" I nodded my head yes understanding a little now "I dreamt of that I dreamt of the explosion and then the metal piece going into my chest and then the rocks falling it scared me and it's hard for me to get scared you know that" I could tell that he wanted to cry which was new

Mylo really doesn't showed his emotions like me so this was news for him he always put up a brave act because he didn't want to show weakness  I know that's the reason why he picked on wildflower was because she had it a lot easier than the rest of us it sure it doesn't excuse it but I understand I mean she always had Vi protecting her and Vander half of the time it felt like they both was against us I mean I remember this one time me and Powder both came back injured because well there was a fight and she was standing against the wall until I was done with it but one of the guys accidentally hit her and I got yelled at for it saying I should have protected her from it so both Vi and Vander yelled at me for it even though it was an accident I know that's why Mylo picked on her because he was jealous

"Mylo do you want to sleep in here with me" he looks at me as I rubbed the back of my neck since I knew he wasn't going to admit that he wanted to sleep in here with me to feel safe "you know I think you're right I think my body got so used to cuddling with wildflower that I'm not used to sleeping by myself yet I think I would enjoy you staying in here for a while
just to help me" Mylo smiled knowing what I was doing but got in bed beside me and laid down "thank you sis" I just smiled as I picked up the book again to start reading as he laid beside me

After like a few minutes we both hear the door open I put my book down again to see Claggor "hey (y/n) sorry if I woke you up" I shook my head as Mylo set up "what do you want" Claggor was a little surprised to see Mylo but just shut the door behind him and he sat on the bed "I can't sleep I had a nightmare about today about the explosion and you know it startled me a little and I can't go back to sleep" I just smiled as I padded the spot on the other side of me so he could lay next to me as well "come on lay down I don't mind sharing a bed with two you you guys are like my brothers we're family" Claggor smiled has he laid down beside me and looked at the book I was reading

"what book is that I don't recognize it" I just smiled as I picked up the book again "It's about the moon clan our history I wanted to read it since I don't know much about the moon clan other than what I've already read and what I've been told it's also the last thing my parents gave me so you know" Claggor smiled as Mylo sat up a little bit again "why don't you read it to us since we can't sleep" Claggor looked at Mylo surprised as I smiled "sure I don't mind" I picked up the book and started reading it from the beginning to the boys

"Ok hold on a minute" I looked at Mylo as he sat up in the bed making me stop reading "so let me get this straight the moon clan the royal family pacifically is related to the moon goddess Luna who basically saved a bunch of people and took them down here and they created their own little clan am I getting that right" I nodded my head as I showed him a picture of the moon goddesses Luna "yes that's correct everyone in the royal family that has the royal blood in them have a birthmark the same one like her" I pointed at the birthmark right by her right shoulder "ok so that means you have a birthmark like hers right" Claggor was pointing at the birthmark as I nodded my head and moved my shirt a little to show them the birthmark "yeah I do I normally covered it up though with foundation to hide the fact that I was part of the royal family it's how you tell who's in the royal family and who isn't" both of them nodded their heads as they looked at the picture of the birthmark and then mine "it's similar and in the exact same place" Claggor pointed out as I nodded my head "yeah everyone in the royal family have the exact same birthmark but sometimes it in different places mine just so happened to be in the same place as hers kind of like my great, great, great, great uncle" both of them nodded as I looked back at the book "do you two want me to continue" they both nodded her head yes making me smile as I kept reading  to them
