Samantha woke up later than usual. She quickly got ready and left for work, knowing she had an important presentation to give that morning. Rushing out the door, she skipped breakfast, opting to grab something on the way to the office.

But as she merged onto the highway, she found herself stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The minutes ticked by, and Samantha grew more anxious with each passing moment. She knew she couldn't afford to be late for the presentation, but there was nothing she could do about the traffic.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Samantha arrived at the office, fifteen minutes late. She rushed to the conference room, where her boss and the clients were waiting.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Samantha enter the room. Her boss looked angry but said nothing, knowing that making a scene in front of the clients would be unprofessional. Samantha quickly composed herself and launched into the presentation.

To her relief, the presentation went smoothly, and the clients seemed impressed with her work. After the meeting ended at lunchtime, Samantha headed to a nearby restaurant to grab a much-needed meal.

As she sat down to eat, Samantha couldn't help but feel grateful that the presentation had gone well despite her being late. She made a mental note to be more careful in the future, and to always leave extra time to account for unexpected delays.
