Samantha was nervous as she picked up her phone to call Samuel. They had just gone on one official date and here she was asking him to meet her parents.

She was doubtful about whether he would agree because things were going too fast. As she searched for his number on her phone's contact list, she made up her mind that she would understand if he wouldn't agree to meet her parents or even stop seeing her.

"Hi Samuel," she said when he answered. "How are you?"

"I'm good, Samantha," he replied. "How about you?"

"I'm fine," she said. "I wanted to talk to you about something important."

"Sure, what is it?" Samuel asked.

"Well, my parents have asked about you," Samantha said hesitantly. "They want to meet you."

Samuel was surprised but pleased. "That's great news, Samantha. I'd be happy to meet your parents."

Samantha let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Samuel. I'm so glad you're willing to do this."

"Of course," he said. "I think it's important to meet each other's families if we're serious about our relationship."

Samantha smiled.

"I agree. But there's one more thing. My parents also want to meet your parents."

Samantha paused for a moment, considering this new development. "I understand. I'll talk to my parents and see if they're available to meet next weekend."

"Okay," Samuel said. "Let's plan for that then. We can meet at a restaurant for lunch or something."

"Sounds good to me," Samantha said. "I'll confirm with my parents and let you know the details."

Samantha felt relieved that Samuel was so understanding and willing to take the time to meet her parents. She knew her parents could be a bit traditional, but she was confident that they would like Samuel once they got to know him.

Since she was busy with the new project in the office, she only texted Samuel once after their call.
