It was finally May. It seemed to be perfect. The flowers were in full bloom, the sun was shining down on the ground, and the weather was great and gave off a comfortable temperature.
There were only three weeks left of the school year, and everyone was excited for the summer vacation to begin.
It all seemed to be perfect.
Then, Mr. Bristles came into the school one day. He was finally ready to put his plan of kidnapping Tina and using Willy and Bonzo as her only way of rescuing into place.
He saw Tina walking down the hallway with Pop in tow. Pop was talking about a cool new TV show that was going to air its series premiere at the end of the month. Pop was excited. Tina was happy that Pop was excited. She didn't really like watching the TV shows Pop liked. But, it didn't mean she didn't support Pop or stopped him from watching the show. She was actually happy for Pop.
"I am glad that you are excited about this show. It must be very well done for you to be excited about.", she said as she listened. Pop nodded. "Oh, yes. It is very well done, and it seems to have a very good cast of characters.", he added. Tina nodded.
Mr. Bristles watched in the distance and shook his head in disgust.
He was ready. He waited long enough.
**************************
That night, he decided that it was time to strike.
The battle had begun.
"Oh, Tina/ dear Tina/ be on alert/ oh, Tina/ dear Tina/ you little squirt/ you are going to pay/ For every minute of everyday/ and you will fall/ when Willy hears the call/ you will tremble and shake/ like you in an earthquake/ come to me/ and you will see/ time to go and have one thing be/ a dream: your freedom."
It was time.
Mr. Bristles approached Willy's house in the middle of the night.
It was dark. It was cold. But, he was on a mission to finally enact his plan. He looked up and saw the chimney. "Perfect", he said to himself. His voice was as low as a whisper.
Using some rope, he climbed up the side of the house and made his way into the chimney. He dropped down with a loud "thunk"! He was in.
Tina was awake and was in the kitchen getting a glass of water from the fridge. She looked over in the living room and saw...
...Mr. Bristles.
Tina was surprised and very scared.
"*gasp* How did you get in here?!", she shrieked. "I came down the chimney, ho, ho, ho.", Mr. Bristles said with a wicked smile at his twisted sense of humor.
Mr. Bristles wasted no time and grabbed Tina. Tina tried to wriggle her way out of his grasp. "Hey, put me down!", she shouted. Tina tried to scream for help, but it was too late as she was gagged. Tape was placed over her mouth. Her arms and legs were overpowered and brought down. She was trapped.
Willy rushed out of his room, hearing the commotion. "What is going on out here?! *gasp* No! It can't be!", he shouted before seeing Mr. Bristles holding his daughter hostage.
"Let her go, NOW!", Willy demanded. Bonzo rushed out of the room, baseball bat in hand. "What happened?!", Bonzo asked.
Everyone else rushed out of their shared room. They were all greeted to the unholy sight of Tina being kidnapped.
"Willy, Bonzo. Do not come after me and do as I say. Then, no harm will come to the paintbrush.", Mr. Bristles said as he smirked.
He then ran away and kicked the door down with all his might to make his escape.
Just like how he entered, he was gone way too fast. Willy ran out of the house and saw Tina slip away from his metaphorical grasp.
Tina was gone.
There was nothing Willy could do now, except wait.
Tina would be harmed otherwise.
