:(Olive was sat behind the keyboard with Kassie, showing her the keys of the song they were playing. She'd been avoiding Cameron for most of practice, but he had not been avoiding her. He had been acting as if they were fine, like the call last week never happened.
She was bent over, leaning over Kassie who was sitting on the stool. The feeling of a hand grazing her bottom had caught her off guard. She was already on high alert with him right now, but for him to touch her like that had set her off.
"Don't fucking touch me." Olive spat out, the second the hand hit her bottom.
"Olive, chill." Cameron laughed, continuing to walk back to his drum kit.
"You want me to fucking—"
"Olive, leave it. Please." Kassie whispered, she didn't know everything about her and Cameron's relationship but she'd been able to sense something was off lately. She only wanted the band itself to be okay, if they weren't at practice she would've been fine with Olive crushing his heart.
"Kas.." Olive was still looking at Cameron, his eyes speaking louder than his words could ever.
"Hey, we can cut practice short? We've already got three songs down and we still have three weeks until the festival." Hannah spoke up, though, per usual it was meek, but they would all listen to the rare words leaving her mouth.
"That's a good idea." Kassie said, reaching for Olive's hand.
"Fuck that, we're practicing." Cameron stated but the three girls disagreed.
"Dude, we're not gonna get anything done while you're being a prick so we're going home." Kassie retorted, standing up and grabbing her things. "Whatever is up your ass lately, I suggest you dig that shit out." Olive went to grab her guitar and music book, packing it away quickly.
"Olive, can we talk before you leave?" She ignored the voice, adjusting her guitar case over her shoulder. She left with Kassie, following her out to the car but not without Cam chasing them out. "Olive! Are you fucking kidding me, you can't—" she froze as he took hold of her arms, pulling her back to face him.
"You can't even talk to me? What did I do to make you act like this?" Cameron spoke so softly, using such a tender tone that you would've never guessed anything bad left his mouth. "Hey, baby, talk to me." Fuck, Olive was weak. He made her weak, wrapped around his finger like a puppet on a string.
"Cameron.. you're not good." She managed to get out, Kassie was already in the car.
"I know what I said to you wasn't nice, it's just I care about you so much that I hate the thought of another guy touching you." His hands moved to her cheeks, tucking her hair behind her ears. She fell for the sweet touch, of course she did.
"Th-thats the problem. You don't understand that I'm not yours. We never agreed to make anything official and I told you that whatever we do stays with no strings."
Nothing could compare her for what he said next, "were we ever no strings?" It was such a hard question to answer because no, they weren't. He did that though, took advantage of that innocent girl in the tattoo shop. He always knew the right things to say, when he was trying to win her over.
"I-I can't.. we can't do this anymore." She uttered out, the words caught at her throat. She felt his hands press harder to the sides of her face and suddenly, he was kissing her. For a second she was kissing back, letting it happen until she realized the mistake she was making.
She tore away, anger now filling her eyes as she shoved him back, "don't fucking do that."
"Olive! Let's go!" With Kassie's words she was rushing to the car. She set her guitar in the back, slamming the door as she got into the passenger seat.
Kassie backed out quick, "what the actual fuck was that?"
"I told him we were done and he kissed me!" Olive was infuriated, Kassie flipping off the house as they started down the street. "Fuck! I almost fell for it too." Olive was angry with herself more than anything. How could she be so stupid.
"Swear to fuck if he tries that shit again I wont hesitate to hit him with my car."
Olive ran a hand over her face, "don't tell Ethan, please."
"Why?"
"Because he'll tell Mark and then Mark will tell Jack and.. I don't want anything to happen." Olive mumbled, taking her phone out of her pockey. "Its so stupid, I know but—"
"No, no, it's not. I get it, I won't say anything." Kassie assured, taking her right hand from the wheel and offering her pinky out to her best friend.
"Thank you." Olive locked her pinky with the other girls, letting out a light giggle at the childish act. "God, I need a fat fucking blunt."
"Ah, ah, no blunts in the car. The pens in my purse."
"Fine."
