oliveumali you bet it will 🤍"There you are!" Olive wrapped her arms around Jack as he walked backstage. He wasn't alone, joined by his brothers, Trevor and a brunette she hadn't met before.
"Sorry, I'm late, Luke had to piss like three times and Trevor wanted snacks so—" she interrupted with a kiss, her adrenaline pumping with excitement.
"I'm just glad you're here." She mumbled against his mouth, turning to the four others. One by one she brought them into her arms, thanking them for coming, all down to the last boy.
"We haven't met, I'm Olive." She brought him into a hug, her usual attitude gone as she felt nothing but joy.
He patted her back awkwardly before pulling away, "Jamie." He had a sweet smile, one that Olive wanted to befriend.
"Are the guys here yet?" Luke asked and she nodded, taking Jacks hand and guiding them to the back.
It was a big festival, local and world known bands playing. They had the hill for their stage, a tent behind it for the band to sit in before their show. It was supplied with food and drinks, places for their instruments like an official room for then.
"Did you get lost?" Kassie asked as they walked in, sat behind Hannah as she braided her hair back.
"Blame Trevor." Olive pointed back to the blond who was smiling at the mention of himself. "Great, where'd Cam go?" She muttered, this having been the third time he's disappeared since arriving.
"Hopefully far away from Mark." Ethan said, sat with a plate full of snacks.
"Wait, where's Mark?" Fuck. She had been good so far with keeping the two separated but now she had no idea where either were.
"Right here, had to piss." Mark stated, walking back into the tent. "Yo, Jack, help me keep an eye on that fucker tonight."
"Don't have to tell me twice." Jack ran a thumb over Olives knuckles, leaning over to kiss her temple and she felt her cheeks burn hot.
"Theres what.. one, two, three, four defensemen and then—"
"Z, man, just because I'm a defenseman doesn't mean I'm fighting anyone you want me to." Jamie spoke up and Trevor rolled his eyes, leaning up to whisper something into his ear. Jamie's eyes widened, "alright."
"Okay, fists to yourselves." Olive told them and Trevor let out a whine.
"I seriously don't like that piece of—"
"Who don't you like?" Cameron walked into the tent with a smirk, eyeing each of the guys standing around Olive. "Upping your roster, huh?" They all got what he was implying and Olive felt Jacks hand squeeze in hers.
"Dude, can't we just have a good show without you being a prick?" Hannah spat out, taking her three bandmates by surprise.
"Sure thing, Hannah banana." Cameron winked to the girl, taking a seat on the bench.
"We actually need to get going, we've got twenty minutes." Kassie stated, "you boys should go."
"You look hot, Kas!" Trevor grinned as he went toward the opening.
"Back at ya, Z!"
The guys began to leave the tent, Mark stopping to wish Olive luck with a kiss on the cheek. Jack stayed back, keeping hold of her hand as he pulled her close.
"You're gonna do amazing." He told her, a hand cupping her jaw, eyes flickering behind her. "Absolutely incredible, Livvie." Jack leaned down, pressing a warm, comforting kiss to her lips.
Olive let her lips linger as she pulled back, "thank you, Jack."
