4 days later, I haven't hung out with Tristan for a while because we were so busy with so many projects and assessments that our advisers are giving us
I gave him a bit of space because we both know that we were so busy these days
While having class, I texted Tristan because I'm getting sleepy and can't focus
Nova: I don't understand anything from the lesson lol help T-T
His chair is so far away from mine, so I'm just staring at him while waiting for him to reply
He suddenly looked at me and smiled
Tristan: lol same, let's self-study these after class
Nova: Will u pls help me, this lesson seems so difficult
Tristan: What 'seems'? Math is always difficult lmfao
Nova: lmfaoaoaoao
Our adviser suddenly called Tristan, "Tristan, seems you're on your phone and it seems like you understand the lesson already, answer the equation in front"
Oh shit, he got called out because of me
He then replied, "Sorry, Ma'am, I didn't understand the lesson. And I have a family emergency, so I'm using my phone. I'm really sorry, Ma'am"
The adviser said, "Teach Tristan some manners and tell him what the lesson is about. Raise your hand if you understand the lesson"
I then chuckled seeing that no one in the class raised their hand
The adviser suddenly sighs, "No one?"
During the lunch break, me, Tristan and Daniel kept laughing because of what happened in Math period
"She didn't even ask what was the emergency about" Tristan laughed
"Stop, I can't eat properly" Daniel sobbed while laughing
I replied, "The one that really got me is no one in the class raised their hand"
We then laughed together
Minutes later after laughing, Tristan added, "By the way, Nova, let's hang out again. I have a lot of money and I'm free today"
Daniel replied, "What, what 'again'? You never asked me to hang out with you, you idiot. Let me go with you!"
I replied, "I'm not really sure if I'm free today but I'll message you after class, don't worry"
After class, I waited at the bus stop for minutes
later, there's a guy came and sat near me
he then asked, "Hi. You're Nova Bridgette, am I right?
I replied, "Yes, How did you know my name?"
"My name's Christian, I'm a Filipino major, and my friends talk a lot about you. How you're so good at the oral recitations, exams, and assessments in Filipino. And I think you're really pretty. I really wanted to meet you right away. This is good timing, am I right?" He then chuckled
I added, "Oh, thank you for appreciating, I didn't know there are some people who talk about me...But I, I'm glad, I'm just really improving Filipino because I haven't for such a long time"
"Oh, I'm so proud of you...C-can we be friends?... It's okay if you don't want to, I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable"
I then gave a blank stare
He then said, "I'm- I'm sorry, if you wanna meet me, you'll always see me in the Filipino department, thank you"
He was about to stand but I immediately pulled his shirt and said, "Yes, let's be friends"
He then smiled at me
The other day, I woke up and immediately opened my phone
I got 5 missed calls from Tristan
I immediately texted him back
Nova: Good morning, I'm sorry I didn't answer ur calls, I slept early
I checked my other notifications, I got 3 messages on Instagram from the guy I met at the bus stop named "Christian"
Christian: Good morning
Can we hang out after class?
It's okay if you don't want to, thanks
