Chapter 24 "Two days"

I then hugged him and started to cry

I didn't want to cry because we were in public but I can't stop crying

He hugged me back, rubbed my head, and said, "Nova... Did he cause your wounds?"

I can't answer because tears kept coming out of my eyes

"Let's just sit here, I'll let you hug me for a while. But please stop crying..." He added

We sat on the bench and I hugged him again as it stops my tears and calmed me down

"Tell me what happened, I'm here to listen" he said

He then wiped my tears

I sobbed, "They said I'm never good...

He replied, "Don't listen to them, they just never see your worth and that's their fault. Nova, look, me, I see your worth, I saw how you worked hard for your grades, I saw how you worked hard for everything even though you're already tired..."

I then held his hand and said, "But... They are my parents... The people who raised me, now hate me. I love you for seeing everything to me, my worth, everything. But why my parents don't see that?..."

We then hugged each other and he added, "They failed to be your parents..."

Hours later, I went to Grandma's house and decided to stay there until I am in a good shape

When I arrived, I changed my clothes and fixed my stuffs

After fixing my stuffs, I went downstairs and Grandma is looking at me

She said, "How were your grades?"

I answered, "It's bad"

"Let me see"

I then handed her the card and she looked at it

She suddenly laughed, "You never do good at math, huh?... Just at least have honor in your hands and make your parents proud"

I then just ignored her and got upstairs

I grabbed my phone and lay down on the bed

Then I texted Christian

He immediately replied

I like the new nickname
Chris sounds good

Nova:
Glad u liked it
So my Grandma saw my grades
I thought she will give me a good comment but yea she didnt
I hate them all tbh

Christian:
Bruh even ur Grandma
What did she say abt it

Nova:
She said I never do good at math
and 'atleast have honor in your hands and make ur parents proud' and shit

Christian:
Are u even comfy to stay there?
We can stay at a hotel
I mean I have so much money rn and we can

Nova:
Im ok i'll just handle it

Christian:
Are u sure

Nova:
Yes dw
Ok I'll go to sleep now im so sleepy

Four days later, I was still staying at Grandma's house

While I was eating breakfast, I texted Christian a good morning

Throughout the day, I feel lethargic because Christian didn't reply and I didn't do any house chores and school works, nothing today because I'm alone while Grandma is at an event

The other day, Christian hasn't still reply yet but I already spammed his messages and calls

Two days have passed and Christian hasn't replied and called me back yet

I started to get worried that something bad might have happened so I decided to go to their house

When I arrived, no one is around and the doors and gates are closed

Luckily, there was a phone number posted on the wall and I immediately called it

A minute later, someone answered it
