Jedediah set his backpack down, arriving home from work. He had gotten a lead role in a movie about cars. He was so excited he was bursting at the seams to tell his boyfriend, Kahmunrah.
He and Kah didn't have a healthy relationship, but Jed was too smitten to realize that. Kah had slowly removed Jedediah from his family and friends' lives. He was drunk a lot, and he was a violent drunk. Kah would always apologize for his outbursts, claiming that it won't happen again, and Jed would always forgive him.
"Kah!"
"Jed, you're home."
"I am! I got some great news!" Jedediah went to their living room, wearing the biggest grin. "I got a lead role in a movie. I think it's called Cars or somethin' like that."
Kah groaned. "It's not going to make you much money."
"I don't care 'bout money."
"Well, I do. I expect my boyfriend to pay for things."
"That ain't a problem." Jed frowned, sitting on his chair. "Why are ya suddenly 'gainst it? I thought ya would be happy for me."
"I thought you would give up on this ridiculous dream."
"It ain't ridiculous."
"Yes, it is."
"No, it ain't. It makes me happy, ain't that all that matters?"
"Joy can't pay rent, Jeddy."
"But—"
"I want you to call the studio and say you can't accept this role. Then we can go out and eat."
Jedediah shook his head. "I ain't doin' that."
"Yes, you are if you want to sleep here tonight."
"Don't be like that, Kah."
"Now, Jedediah."
Jedediah flinched at his harsh tone but shook his head again. "No. I ain't callin' them. I got the role I wanted; I ain't givin' it up."
Kah clenched his jaw and stood up. Jedediah shrunk into his seat as Kah neared. He squeezed his eyes shut, biting his tongue as Kah punched his jaw.
"Out."
"Kah—"
"I said out! I told you what would happen if you didn't call them. Get out, now!"
Jedediah jumped up, scrabbling to the door. He grabbed his backpack and ran out of the apartment. Warm tears stung his eyes. He didn't know where he could go. His jaw ached, and his heart pounded.
Slowing down, Jedediah took a deep breath. The bar was two blocks away; maybe he could go there for a drink or two.

Needless to say, Jed was drunk. He didn't drink often. Kah told him that he didn't like drunk Jed. Drunk Jed was loud, free, and outgoing. Drunk Jed was the Jedediah he used to be before Kahmunrah was in his life.
Jedediah had been drinking next to a cute guy. He wanted to flirt with him, so he did. Kah wasn't in his mind at this point.
"Heyyy," Jed slurred out. "Who are ya? Yer cute."
"I'm Octavius. You are?"
"Jedediah." Jed grinned at him. "Are ya single?"
Octavius blushed. He usually wasn't one to be flattered this easily, but he's had almost as many drinks as Jed had. "Yes."
Jed stood up, taking Oct's hand. "Come dance wid me."
Octavius nodded, letting Jedediah drag him to the dance floor. They danced, taking more shots.

Octavius invited Jedediah over to his place, which Jedediah happily followed. They sat on Oct's couch, laughing at one of Jed's jokes.
"Wait, wait, I can't breathe."
Jedediah poked Oct's stomach, causing him to laugh harder.
God, Octavius was cute. He was friendly, much nicer than Kah ever was.
Jed frowned at the sudden reminder that he was a taken man. In his drunken state, he deemed it unimportant. All that mattered now was Octavius.
"Jeddyyyy? You okay?" Octavius slurred out.
Jedediah nodded and climbed into Oct's lap. "Ain't never been better."
"You talk funny."
"I don't."
"You do." Octavius grinned. "It's cute."
Jedediah blushed, smashing his lips against Octavius'. Octavius was taken back but gladly kissed back. Their tongues battled for dominance. In the end, Octavius won.
The two had to pull away for air, both panting.
"Shit," Jed swore. "Octy, I ain't never wanted anyone 'fore as much as I want ya."
"In here or in my room?"
"Here."
Octavius nodded, kissing Jedediah once more. He fiddled with Jed's belt. He could feel how hard Jed was, which turned Octavius on.
Clothes piled up on the floor. The two men only wore their underwear.
"Octy, hurry up an' take me," Jed mumbled.
Octavius chuckled, kissing down Jed's neck. Occasionally, he left a hickey on Jed's untouched skin. He frowned when Jed winced after he had kissed his jaw but thought nothing more. He was horny and drunk. He couldn't think straight.
"I'll be right back," he muttered. He stumbled out of the room to grab some lube from his nightstand. He didn't have sex often, but he had it enough to have a bottle in his room.
When he came back, Jed had taken off his underwear. Octavius blushed darkly.
"Octy! Yer back!"
"I am."
Octavius took his boxers off, throwing them into the pile of clothes. He squeezed some lube onto his fingers as he knelt.
"It might hurt if you've never done this before. It'll feel good soon."
Jedediah nodded. He moved to be kneeling, his stomach against the couch. He gasped when he felt a finger push into him.
It was a strange feeling that soon turned into a good one. Octavius added another finger, pushing them in and out as he stretched Jed. The moans he let out were like music to Octavius' ears.
Soon, he decided Jed was stretched enough. He lubed up his dick and stood up. He slowly pushed in.
This hurt more than the fingers, but the pain melted away into pleasure. It was Jed's first time, as he had been saving himself for Kah, but Kah never wanted to have sex when Jed did. Jed didn't doubt that Octavius was better at sex than Kah was.
Octavius was patient, asking if things were okay. He was gentle and caring.
Octavius picked his pace up, thrusting in and out of Jed. Both were moaning. Jed gripped the couch cushion, feeling himself get close.
"Fuck, Octy. I'm close."
Octavius only nodded, moving faster. He found Jed's spot, getting a scream from the smaller man.
Jed came first, Octavius cumming two minutes later.
Octavius pulled out of Jed, smiling when he saw how sleepy Jed was. "Let's go to my bed. We can sleep there."
Jedediah nodded. "Sounds like a plan."
