While Octavius' feelings for Jedediah only grew after Jed officially moved in with him, he never pursued him. He gave Jedediah as much time as he needed to get over Kahmunrah.
Jedediah was hammered by Octavius. Living with him was amazing. Octavius was everything he needed and more.
It was hard to admit, but Jed did miss Kah. He was disappointed that Kah didn't bother looking for him.
Jedediah sat on his and Oct's shared couch, drinking a beer. Beers surrounded his feet.
Octavius arrived home. "Jed, I'm home."
"Octy!" Jed hopped up and ran over, pulling him into a tight hug. "Yer back!"
Octavius blushed darkly. "Jed, are you drunk?"
"A bit."
Octavius sighed. He knew that Jedediah drank to help his pain. "Jed, you could've called me. I—"
Jedediah interrupted him, kissing him. Octavius froze before melting into the touch. They soon pulled away.
"Jed, you're drunk. You aren't thinking correctly."
"I ain't never thought this well 'fore. I wanna be with ya."
Octavius blushed. "You do?"
Jedediah nodded. "To prove it to ya, I'll get sober than kiss ya."
==Short Time Skippy Skip==
Two hours later, Jed was completely sober. To his word, he sought out Octavius. When he found him, Jedediah kissed Octavius. This time, Octavius kissed back.
The kiss grew heated. Tongues clashed together, both men moaning quietly.
It was clear that the two were holding back for a while.
Jedediah sat in Octavius' lap, gripping his hair. They pulled from the kiss, panting.
"Octy."
"Yes?"
Jed leaned into his ear. "Take me."
Octavius bit his lip. "Are you sure?"
"100%."
Octavius nodded, kissing Jed's jaw before removing Jed's shirt. He frowned when he saw the scars left behind by Kah, gently tracing on over his abs.
"Oct?"
"I hate that he put you through this."
Jed tensed. "Don't think 'bout him. He don't matter no more."
Octavius nodded and kissed Jed's jaw.

The two lay on Jed's bed, their bodies tangled.
"Octy?"
"Yeah?"
"We should go on a date sometime."
Octavius blinked. "You would like to go out with me?"
Jedediah nodded. "I would."
"I would love to."
Jedediah grinned. "Awesome!"
