Jedediah's head hurt. He slowly sat up, gripping his head. He looked around. He was in an unfamiliar environment. Jed could hear his phone ringing in a different room. He looked over, seeing a man he's never met before sleeping next to him. The man's arms were around Jed's waist.
His heart sunk.
He lost his virginity to a guy he didn't know while dating someone else. How could he let his happen?
Jed's phone stopped ringing. That peace didn't last long as Jed's phone began ringing again.
Jed unhooked the man's arms and stood up. The man whimpered a little but rolled over, remaining asleep. Jed limped over to the phone.
He never thought he would be the bottom, but all signs pointed to it. He hoped he had consented to it.
Jed grabbed his phone, seeing that it was Kah calling him. His body tensed, remembering why he had been at the bar the night before. His hands shook as he answered and brought the phone to his ear.
"Hello?"
"Jeddy, where are you?" Jed could tell Kah was trying not to yell.
"I dunno."
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"I got drunk last night an'—"
"How many times have I told you not to drink? I don't like the man you become."
"Sorry. I won't do it 'gain."
"God, why can't you talk like a normal person?"
Jed went silent. Tears stung his eyes. He decided he wouldn't tell Kah about the man he hooked up with.
"Jeddy."
"Yes?"
"When will you be home?"
"In 'bout twenty minutes."
"Good."
Kah hung up. Jed sighed and got dressed. Impulsively, he grabbed a pen and a sheet of paper.
He wrote: "Sorry for leaving. Feel free to text or call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Jedediah Smith <3"
With that, Jedediah put his address into Google Maps and began his walk home.
