Kahmunrah was not happy that Jedediah had gone to the hospital. His ankle was in a boot. Jedediah knew that he was in massive trouble.

There was no telling what Kah would do to him.

Jed sat in the passenger seat of Kah's car, staring out the window. He ignored the loud music that Kah had turned out. He was praying to god that he would survive this.

Jedediah wanted to go back home to Texas. He wanted to be with his parents and siblings. Most of all, he wanted Octavius in the car instead of Kahmunrah.

He huffed and leaned against the cold window, watching the rain fall.

Kahmunrah drove in silence. His anger grew whenever he looked over at his silent boyfriend.

The couple arrived at their apartment and went into the living room. The blond sat on the couch.

"Kah?"

"You were just fine! You didn't need to go to the hospital!"

"Kah, I—"

"No. If we're going to stay together, you need to toughen up."

Jedediah slowly nodded. "Of course."

Kah kissed Jed's forehead. "I love you; I hope you know that."

"I love ya too."

Kahmunrah grinned. "Great. I'll figure out what your punishment is later."

Jedediah looked down and nodded. "Of course, Kah."
