Mrs Smith's birthday

Friday finally arrived. Everyone was excited and they started preparing for Mrs Smith's birthday party.
The kids were all set for the birthday even the cook and the house keeper were not left out for the preparations
"Mom where are you?" shouted Fred, at the corridor
Mrs Smith entered the sitting room and was amazed with the children's decorations
"Wow this is beautiful!" exclaimed Mrs Smith
"Do you like it mom?" asked Anita
"I love it sweetheart. Thanks kids I really appreciate your efforts." said Mrs Smith gratefully
"You're welcome ma'am." shouted the kids
"Here's the cake ma'am!" entered the house keeper, she brought a cake inside the sitting room
"Who brought this?" asked Mrs Smith surprised
"Mr Charles, he sent someone to bring the cake, and added he will be here very soon." replied the house keeper
"Oh Mr Charles! He made a promise to bring a cake for my birthday. I never knew he would stick to his promise." exclaimed Mrs Smith joyfully
"That's so sweet of him mom!" said Anita cheerfully
"You can say that again!" replied Mrs Smith
After an hour, the party started, Anita's close friends; Benita and Gloria entered the sitting room followed by Henry and Cecelia.
"Let's all stand up and wish mom, happy birthday." said Fred
Everyone stood up and they all sang birthday songs to Mrs Smith.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you Mrs Smith, happy birthday to you." shouted everyone
"Hip ,hip hip!" said Henry
"Hurray!!!" shouted everyone joyfully
Mrs Smith was happy and she started dancing slowly to the music being played for her.
"Mom it's your birthday please dance well." shouted Ben cheerfully
Everyone started dancing with Mrs Smith, except for the house keeper and grandma.
"Excuse me ma'am, there is something I would like to say." said Cece politely
"Okay Cece darling!" replied Mrs Smith cheerfully
Anita was shunned with Cecilia sudden behavior "What's up with the drama queen?" asked Anita chuckled
"I don't know for her, hope she knows it's your mom's birthday not her." replied Benita scornfully
"I told my mom about your birthday ma'am. And she asked me to do a live video with you, because she wanted to wish you happy birthday!" said Cecelia
"That's nice! Get me my purse Benjamin!" said Mrs Smith
Ben stood from his seat, to get her mom the purse
"Where did you drop your purse mom?" asked Ben
"It's beside the television set!" replied Mrs Smith
Ben moved closer to the television set and didn't see the purse there
"I can't find it mom!" said Ben
"Are you sure?" asked Mrs Smith surprised
"Yes Mom!" replied Ben
Mrs Smith looked over the television set, she didn't see her purse and she was wondering where she kept her purse
"I dropped the purse here and I put my phone inside it when you guys called me out to dance." said Mrs Smith worried
"I saw you dropped it on the television set ma!" said the house keeper
"I know I dropped the purse here." said Mrs Smith
"Okay ma'am let me help you look for it!" said Cece suddenly
"Okay Cece!" replied Mrs Smith
"Attention everyone please, don't get up from where you are right now!" warned Cecilia
"Okay!" everyone said
Cecilia moved from one chair to another, she checked Anita seats, Benita and Gloria before heading to Fred and Ben seats. Cece didn't see the phone there. Finally Cecilia checked Olivia's seat, she saw the phone beside Olivia.
"Oh my goodness!" shouted Cecilia
"Where did you find it?" asked Mrs Smith
"I found it on her, she was holding the purse." lied Cecelia
"What?" shouted Olivia quickly
"Yes, you took the purse. You wretched girl." replied Cecilia swearing
"You liar!" said Olivia furiously
"Let me have my phone!" said Mrs Smith
Cecelia handed over the phone to Mrs Smith gently
"Olivia how did my purse got there?" asked Mrs Smith annoyed
"I didn't know ma'am. I didn't take your phone Cecilia is lying." replied Olivia gently
"Really but the purse was caught on you!" said Mrs Smith furiously
"It's not me ma'am. I didn't know the phone was on the chair." replied Olivia
"Even the house keeper saw me when I dropped it there." said Mrs Smith
"Mom, Olivia's had been on her chair since. I didn't think she's the one that took the phone." said Ben
"Yes Mom, Olivia had been on her seat ever since the party had started." agreed Anita
"Who brought the purse here? I believe the purse doesn't have wings. So please spare me the trash." said Mrs furiously
Mr Charles came inside at the moment and Olivia was surprised to see the Man that helped her and grandma to have their own house.
"Mr Charles!" shouted Olivia excited
"Olivia!" replied Mr Charles happily, and he hugged Olivia
"Mr Charles!" said Mrs Smith cheerfully, she was surprised Olivia knew him
"What are you doing here Olivia? how's grandma?" asked Mr Charles gently
"I'm sir and grandma is over there." Olivia pointed to where grandma was standing. Grandma quickly went to meet Mr Charles and greeted him warmly
"Grandma long time ma'am!"said Mr Charles politely
"How are you doing and how's work?" asked grandma gently
"I am fine grandma!" replied Mr Charles, he turned to Mrs Smith
"I'm sorry I came late Mrs Smith!" said Mr Charles
"It's alright. Thanks for the cake!" replied Mrs Smith
"You're welcome! and what's going on now?" asked Mr Charles
"Nothing actually, I was looking for my purse before you came inside." replied Mrs Smith
"Have you found it now?" asked Mr Charles
"Yes, I found it on her?" said Mrs Smith
"Olivia! You mean Olivia took your phone?"
"Yes she did!" replied Mrs Smith
"I didn't take the purse sir." said Olivia gently
"I know Olivia very well. She's a good and well-mannered girl, Mrs Smith." said Mr Charles
"Okay if you say so!" replied Mrs Smith, not convinced
"Yes I'm very sure." said Mr Charles
"Come sit down here Mr Charles." said Mrs Smith, she lead the way for Mr Charles to entered inside the room
