"Hey, Seung—" MinHo's voice falls quiet the moment he sees EunChae curled up beside SeungMin.
"She had quite the night." SeungMin mumbles, gently running his fingers through her hair.
"What happened after we went to bed?" MinHo questions worriedly, sitting down on the edge of the already full twin size bed.
"Well—apparently he posted a new song on his private YouTube channel that only the two of them have access to. She played it for me—really pretty actually. She was convinced he wrote it about an ex and was devastated that he was having a hard time—and not the fact that there was no way in hell he didn't intentionally post it there for her to see. He wanted her to hear it. He knows she's debuting. He's trying to make it he'll for her." SeungMin explains calmly, not wanting to wake her, but knowing it has to happen soon anyway.
"You don't know that, Seung. If he really has forgotten about her—he might've just put it up for himself without thinking. We can't keep making him out to be some kind of villain. We don't the whole story. I love Chae to death, but even she'll admit she doesn't understand everything that happened between them." MinHo does his best to defend their precious EunChae, but he can't rule out a simple misunderstanding coming between them. EunChae unintentionally misunderstands a lot of things. She just doesn't have the same understanding of social cues and things—it could truly be no one's fault they grew apart.
"I know—it's just—she really misses him and he just doesn't seem to notice she's gone. Even if you do have a fight with a close friend—you usually talk to them about it after cooling down—so why the hell did he just vanish from her life?" SeungMin sighs, knowing MinHo is right. They can't blame Chan for everything that happened. He had his reasons for it—even if they aren't necessarily something they'd all agree are good enough to abandon her.
"She'll see him today. She'll hand him a signed album. We just gotta see what comes of it." MinHo pats SeungMin's thigh before popping back up.
"You gotta get up. We gotta get ready to go. We have a lot of introductions to do today—and a really important performance. We need our main vocal on his best game." MinHo smiles, stepping out into the hall, almost running into Felix.
"There she is—I checked her room and she wasn't there." Felix lets out a relieved sigh as he lays eyes on EunChae.
"Did you find her?" HyunJin rushes up behind him, peering over Felix's shoulder in search of her.
"She's alive. Just had a rough night. She'll live." MinHo reassures them, patting their shoulders before heading back toward his room.
"What happened?" Felix and HyunJin both question, rushing in to get as much information from SeungMin as they can.
"Go away." SeungMin groans, slipping out from under her.
"Just tell me one thing—it was that asshole's fault, right?" HyunJin crosses his arms over his chest, his damp hair falling over his eyes.
"So what if it was? For all you know he could've posted a damn picture on Instagram and she saw it. A single memory of him can make her spiral." Felix answers the question for SeungMin.
"Shut the hell up. You wake her up talking about him and you're going to be what makes today miserable for her." SeungMin scolds, collecting his clothes for a shower.
"You're gonna wake her up—right?" HyunJin eyes him suspiciously.
"I'm gonna let her sleep as long as possible. We all have to shower, it won't hurt if she's last. The water will still be hot. She won't panic either. If no one is after her, she won't rush herself." SeungMin explains casually, turning toward the two of them.
