"I was almost certain we were going to have to take him to the hospital." ChangBin mumbles, staring in at Chan's passed out form from the doorway.
"Oh god—that would've went over great. Top star Bang Chan visits hospital after drinking himself stupid. That's gold." JiSung groans.
Despite how hard they'd tried to get him to stop drinking, he wouldn't. They even tried prying it from his hands, but he'd always find a way to sneak more. In the end—he accomplished his goal of drinking until he couldn't feel—at least not while he was awake.
"Maybe it would've knocked some sense into him." ChangBin sighs, trying to decide if he wants to be the one who breaks the news to the older—or if he wants to make JiSung do it.
Drunk Chan did not make the best choices. Someone needs to tell him that, but who should do it?
"Just fucking say it." Chan yawns, rolling onto his side to face them.
"You called her and told her some choice words—words I will not repeat." ChangBin gives in and spills the beans.
"Tell me. Lay it on me. What the fuck did I do?" Chan covers his face with his pillow, regret consuming him.
"Boy—you couldn't pay me to tell you what you said." ChangBin shakes his head, refusing to elaborate any further.
"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." Chan whips his pillow across the room, blindly reaching over to grab his phone.
"Yeah—some serious shit—like got three idol groups to fucking hate you shit." JiSung can't help but chuckle. He knows Chan will find a way to fix it, but until then, he's going to be a huge—amusing—mess.
"Why the fuck didn't you stop me?" Chan questions groggily, well aware they probably tried—even if he can't remember any of it.
"I fucking held you down while JiSung tried to pry your phone from your hand. Trust me—we tried." ChangBin sighs, making his way towards Chan and falling down on the edge of his bed.
"It wasn't an in public scene—was it? Like no one outside of them and us know—right?" Chan grows more concerned at the thought of ruining other people's lives instead of just his own.
"You did it here. You saw the two of them sitting on a bench and she fell asleep on him—so when we got home—you said some real stupid things to her. Some really fucking selfish things to her." ChangBin shakes his head, disappointed they hadn't been able to stop him.
"Fuck. She's gonna fucking hate me." Chan runs his fingers through his hair.
"Well—isn't that kinda what you wanted?" JiSung mumbles, pulling his vibrating phone from his pocket. His heart drops the moment he sees a dozen texts from MinHo.
"Yeah—but not in that way—I wanted to do something stupid to upset her—not something fucking cruel." Chan tosses his blanket aside and gets to his feet.
"I—I gotta go deal with this." JiSung holds his phone up to show the two boys the notifications.
"Fuck. I didn't mean it, JiSung. I'm not that big of an asshole. You know that better than anyone. I was just drunk and jealous." Chan attempts to defend himself.
"I know." JiSung nods, reassuring Chan, but also not playing into his game. He slips away, leaving the two alone.
