"It is six in the morning and you are air frying dinosaur chicken nuggets—have you ever stepped back and thought maybe—just maybe it's too early for that?" Felix chuckles, amused at the sight of EunChae slaving over her ranch and hot sauce dipping combo.
"Never. It's never too early." EunChae shakes her head, refusing to accept that as a possibility.
"Is MinHo not here?" HyunJin questions worriedly, slipping out of MinHo's bedroom in a panic.
"MinHo? Haven't seen him." Felix shrugs, not at all affected by the oldest's absence. He'll show up.
"Fuck." HyunJin pulls his phone out and pushes his way into his own room in hopes of locating him as quickly as possible.
"Right here." MinHo groans, shutting the front door behind him.
He sighs as his phone goes off. Lifting it to his ear, he eyes HyunJin's door. "I'm right here, asshat."
"Thank fucking god." HyunJin flings his door open, rushing into the hall to see him.
"I just went to the damn café. You're making it seem like I ran away on some far away rendezvous." MinHo rolls his eyes as he sets down two carriers of coffee—and a single smoothie.
"Oh—thanks." HyunJin mumbles apologetically, feeling bad for assuming things.
"I told you I'd be back before you woke up. Did you really not trust me?" MinHo teases, his voice low as he pulls HyunJin in for a rough hug.
"I—I trusted you—I was just—I was worried." HyunJin stumbles over his words, embarrassed he doubted the older for even the slightest second.
"I handled it, Jinnie. I was gone maybe two hours. I'm assuming seeing how Chae is up and cooking everything went fine without me." MinHo questions, holding HyunJin's drink out for him. He eyes the other two, ensuring they're distracted so they don't overhear him.
"Well—kind of—yes and no. She thought Seung hated her—so I went and got Seung. And he left her room not long after he went in—so I assume it ended fine." HyunJin informs him, wanting to get to the point without dragging it out too long.
"Speaking of him—where is the dork? What about the baby?" MinHo slips away to go investigate the whereabouts of the missing two boys.
"Innie hopped in the shower just before you came. Haven't seen Seung yet, but he was up moving around last I knew." HyunJin trails after him, wanting to verify he was actually right and not just hearing things.
"Hey, Seung?" MinHo gently taps on his bedroom door before hesitantly peeking inside.
"Hm?" SeungMin hums, sitting on the edge of his bed with his back turned toward him.
"Just wanted to make sure you were up and good." MinHo slips inside, shutting HyunJin out the moment he sees the tension in SeungMin's shoulders.
"Yeah, I'm up." SeungMin confirms, scrolling through his phone, completely oblivious to the fact MinHo is coming up behind him.
"What happened last night?" MinHo kneels down on the bed behind him, wrapping his arms around SeungMin's waist and pulling him close.
"Hm? What do you mean?" SeungMin locks his phone and tosses it aside as he finally shifts to see MinHo.
"You're tense as hell and Jinnie said he sent you to Chae last night." MinHo pulls back and playfully begins to give him a loving massage.
"Oh—that—she thought I hated her for leaving to go hang out with WooBin again. I told her I didn't care. That was that." SeungMin shrugs the older off, and gets to his feet.
