A few long weeks later, I was released from the hospital; but with a few precautions: I wasn't allowed to do stunts or fly at this point. It triggered me because I was known to as a straight up daredevil, and I lived for these thrills. But it didn't matter, because I was back where I belonged: with the Cooper Gang.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much time for a welcome back party. Precisely because, we were on a mission for The Cooper Vault which, believe me went HORRIBLY WRONG!

To start, Sly was about to get eaten by a horrible mutant, created by the nefarious mad scientist, Dr. M, which to add to the horror, was the former best friend of Sly's father. I still can't get over the despair running through my body, while trying to pull away from Seth and Penelope's grasp, as they tried to hold me back. Having my wings fully healed, I broke away from their hold, with a swoop.

I flew to where Sly was, and he gave me an "I'm gonna be ok" smile when he saw me, trying to ease my heart; but I knew better. Even when we set foot on the secret isle, Penelope showed me the beacon she invented with Bentley, and told me to "use sparingly". Luckily I found just the right occasion to put into action. My plan went as follows:

First, I waited for the monstrosity to open it's jaws so I could get inside. Then, thanks to the glowing stars, on my sleeve, I could easily navigate through the muck of the mutant's insides, until I reached the brain center.

"That's the brain," I thought, "nothing like a good ol' hackin'!"

Being the quick thinker that I am, I installed the beacon, and hacked the control system inside the monster's brain, and set it up for a big explosion.

Initiating self destruction in 20 seconds...

"Sangue to the Cooper Gang, get out now, the thing's about to blow!" I warned everyone into the receiver.

18...

From the other end, I heard Penelope's voice.

" Did you seriously use the beacon we invented?"

"Pretty much..."

17...

There were a lot of obstacles, in that mutant's belly, but there was nothing I can't conquer.

16...

Next there was a huge spine ladder, in which I climbed hastily, and almost fell back on a few bones.

"EEE, this is a bad idea, but I'm getting close..." I whispered.

15...

Before I knew it, I was standing on the monster's tounge. I could see only a few glimmer of lights escaping through those donkey chompers.

Suddenly, Sly's voice sounded through the speakers.

"Sangue, your time is running out," He warned, "Tell me you have a way out of this thing."

Just then, I had idea on how to get myself out.

"Guys, I have an idea, but it's kinda far-fetched."

With my strength, I yanked the beast's teeth, in order to created a gap big enough for me to escape through, I felt something squirt onto me, that tasted invigorating and bitter, as the countdown was finishing it's completion with sparks flying everywhere!
