The van's dim interior echoed with the soft hum of the time machine powering up. I glanced around at the familiar faces—Dimitri, Seth, Bentley, and Penelope—all wearing expressions of anticipation and concern. Their eyes met mine, and without a word, I knew something was amiss.

"Sly, we need to talk," Bentley said, his tone serious.

As we gathered around the table, Bentley unfolded Sangue's journal, revealing the hieroglyphic messages she had penned. Each stroke told a tale of longing, of a connection that spanned time and space.

"Sangue wants us to go to Egypt," Bentley explained, his gaze fixed on the cryptic symbols. "She's left messages—'Cleopatra' and 'Use my pen.' It's like she's guiding us."

Dimitri chimed in, his voice tinged with urgency. "She must be in some kind of trouble, man. We can't just leave her hanging."

Seth nodded in agreement, his eyes reflecting determination. "Sangue wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. We gotta go help her."

Penelope, ever the voice of reason, added, "And her reed pen is the key. It's a link between our worlds. If we use it, we might be able to follow her path."

I studied the hieroglyphs, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Sangue had reached out across time, and the Cooper Gang had to answer the call.

"We're coming, Sangue," I declared, my voice firm with resolve.

Bentley initiated the time machine, its whirring gears and pulsating energy enveloping us. The van seemed to blur as the vortex of time travel embraced us, carrying the Cooper Gang toward the ancient mysteries of Egypt.

As we hurtled through the temporal currents, a sense of urgency and camaraderie filled the van. The journey into the unknown was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, a testament to the unbreakable bonds that tied us together.

The Egyptian sands awaited, and with Sangue's cryptic messages as our guide, the Cooper Gang plunged into the shadows of the Sphinx, ready to face the enigmatic challenges that lay ahead.
