The Cooper Gang found themselves in the heart of China, seeking the expertise of the renowned fireworks expert and former adversary, the Panda King. As we approached his mountain fortress, the air was thick with anticipation. Bentley, Sly, and I strategized the delicate task of recruiting the powerful pyrotechnic master.

Upon our arrival, the Panda King greeted us with suspicion, but our intentions quickly became clear. Sly explained our need for his unique skills, highlighting the greater good we sought to achieve together.

The Panda King hesitated, torn between the past and the possibility of redemption. It wasn't until we mentioned freeing his daughter, Jing King, from a forced marriage with the oppressive General Tsao that he agreed to join our cause.

Our plan was set into motion—a daring rescue mission to save Jing King from a fate she never chose.

As we infiltrated General Tsao's fortress, stealth and precision were our allies. Sly, Bentley, and I moved in unison, disabling security systems and avoiding patrolling guards. We reached the grand hall just in time to witness the forced union about to take place.

"Better watch out, General Tsao," I sneered, my eyes locked on him, "the Diyu has already a reserved spot for you."

My words struck a chord, sending shivers down the Panda King's spine. The reference to the underworld and impending judgment unsettled both Tsao and his minions. It was the perfect distraction.

In the chaos that ensued, fireworks erupted, both metaphorically and literally. Sly and Bentley skillfully maneuvered through the chaos while I confronted General Tsao. The battle was fierce, but with precision and determination, we overcame his forces.

As General Tsao lay defeated, the Panda King approached with a stern expression. "Your fate is your own, Tsao, but the Diyu may indeed have a reserved spot for those who bring suffering upon others."

With Jing King now freed from the clutches of an unwanted marriage, the Panda King revealed a surprising piece of information. He explained that in Chinese culture, bats were symbols of good fortune, contrary to what I had been led to believe as a child—that I was an omen of misfortune.

I listened, astonished, as the Panda King continued, "Bats are seen as bringers of happiness and prosperity. You, Sangue, are not an omen of misfortune but a harbinger of fortune."

Jing King, standing beside her father, added, "And there's an ancient tale I overheard in my captivity. It speaks of a Moondark Clan member sent by the Moon goddess, Chang'e, to bring peace to the land. Perhaps it's a distant ancestor of yours."

A name resonated in my mind, a name that carried the weight of heritage and destiny—Changying, the peaceful bat, a possible ancestor whispered through the ages.

As the moonlight bathed us in its gentle glow, the revelations unfolded, and the crew welcomed the Panda King into the fold, bound by a common purpose and newfound understanding. The journey continued, now infused with the symbolism of fire, bats, and the legacy of a distant ancestor named Changying.
