The night settled over the quiet corners of the desert as Sly sought out Salim, his trusted friend and confidant. The two sat beneath the star-strewn sky, sharing tales of their adventures as Sly hesitated, unsure of how to broach the subject that had been gnawing at him.
"Salim," Sly finally spoke, the words heavy with a sense of urgency. "I need your help, my friend. It's about Sangue."
Salim raised an eyebrow, a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "Sangue, you say? That's an unusual name. Why do you seek her?"
Sly leaned in, his voice lowered to a conspiratorial whisper. "She's more than just an ally. She's like family, and she's in trouble. I need to find her before things get out of hand."
Salim's eyes narrowed, and then, a spark of recognition crossed his features. "Sangue, you say? That name carries weight in these lands, though I thought it was but a legend."
Sly's eyes widened in surprise. "Legend? What are you talking about?"
Salim sighed, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon while he held a distinct artwork in hand. "There's an old tale, passed down through generations. A prophecy, they say. It speaks of a follower through all storms, a harbinger of justice who will rise under the blood moon."
Sly leaned back, absorbing the gravity of Salim's words. "Blood moon? Prophecy? What does that have to do with Sangue?"
Salim's gaze met Sly's, revealing a depth of ancient wisdom. "The legend foretells that on a night painted red by the blood moon, this follower will bring justice with three thieves who have come from three family bloodlines in our lands for centuries. It is said that she will wield the power to unravel their schemes and restore balance to the desert."
Sly's mind raced as he processed the implications of Salim's revelation. "So, Sangue is the one from the prophecy?"
Salim nodded solemnly. "It seems that fate has intertwined your path with hers. If the legend holds true, then she is destined to confront the thieves and bring about a reckoning under the blood moon."
Sly clenched his fists, a determination burning in his eyes. "We can't let the prophecy unfold without us. We need to find Sangue and stand by her side, Salim."
Salim offered a reassuring smile. "I had a feeling you would say that, my friend. Together, we shall embark on this journey, and with Sangue, we'll face the shadows that linger in the moonlit dunes."
Underneath the vast expanse of the night sky, Sly and Salim forged a pact, bound by the threads of destiny and the Prophecy of the Blood Moon. Little did they know that their quest would lead them into the heart of a tale written in the stars, where the echoes of the past would guide them towards an uncertain future.
