Diary entry 1

I found myself in a different world after I got hit by a truck when saving a little boy. I'm sorry if you saw me die that day Y/n, I just couldn't help it. I know you would understand one day why I chose to save a life. Although I wished I could've been selfish so I had more time with you. I miss you so much, my little shooting star. I hope you're still happy even without me, I can't imagine you not smiling.

Diary entry 7

I found out that I'm in a world named Teyvat and that I woke up as an astrologist with the same name as me. I may look different but I'm still who I was on earth. A beautiful goddess named Rukkhadevata sensed that I am different in the soul. She is kind and all-knowing, a true goddess of wisdom. She helped me settle in her nation.

Diary entry 10

Teyvat are different from Earth, they have access to what I know as magic using one of the seven elements; earth, water, fire, air, ice, electro, and nature. Greater Lord Rukkhadevata has powers over nature but she is commonly known for her wisdom. The sky also is different, the moon never changes phase. I created a telescope with Rukkhadevata's help and I name it "sky-gazer". I was awarded a hefty sum of money they call mora for my invention.

Diary entry 15

I met someone named Ellias, he's also an astrologist like the body I reincarnated in. We share the same views and he understands my knowledge of astronomy. He's a single parent like me too. Greater Lord Rukkhadevata and I have become friends and often I tell her stories about my daughter over some tea and candied ajilenakh nuts

Diary entry 26

Ellias confessed his love for me and honestly, I do feel the same way but thinking of my lovely daughter back on earth makes me wary of love. I feel guilty about becoming happy without knowing if my daughter is happy as well.

Diary entry 45

Something bad has been happening around Sumeru, people from the desert and rainforest have been suffering some kind of illness that even I don't know. Ellias has been sent with other scholars to assist the sick in the desert while I stayed and took care of the sick in the city. According to Rukkha, this illness is caused by forbidden knowledge. What could that knowledge be to have started such a terrible illness?

Diary entry 68

I have mastered astrology and can perform divination which I cannot do back on earth. I read something ominous in the stars so I told Rukkha about it. I do not know when or where it will be but the stars revealed that the sages will turn their backs on their god. Rukkha only hummed and thanked me for the information before heading out to suppress the spreading illness that we call "Eleazar"

Diary entry 102

Rukkha told me her plans to sacrifice herself to cure Eleazar and I tried to go against it but it was no use, she already made up her mind and I needed to respect it. She said that she will leave a fragment of herself to look over the nation. She asked me to help her fragment which  I agreed.

Diary entry 156

The sages found Rukkha's fragment, a small child in her image. They deem her useless which I sternly disagreed with. My voice wasn't heard and they locked up Rukkha's fragment. I had no way of proving that she was Rukkha's incarnation so I had to lay low. All I can do was constantly visit the little girl they named Lesser Lord Kusanali. A poor child she is, locked up inside her own house. If only I have more power or authority...I should've taken Rukkha's offer to be the grand sage.

Diary entry 169

Lesser Lord Kusanali and I became close after my constant visit. I know that my Y/n will easily become friends with her, they're both curious children after all. I often tell her stories and sing her songs I know from the earth. She asked me to call her Nahida instead, such a beautiful name. I wonder if it was left by Rukkha herself. Still, the sages have been limiting my visit to her, maybe they think I can set her free.

Diary entry 200

Ellias has come back from the desert but has contracted the illness "Eleazar." I know he hasn't much time left so I confessed but it would seem that he already knew. He told me he was happy to have heard it from my mouth but I feel so awful. Why do I always regret everything so late?

Diary entry 239

I married Ellias despite his illness, I became his son's mother and I loved them both. Busy with taking care of them, I rarely go to visit Nahida anymore. I have also retired from being an astrologist professor to spend more time with my new family. I feel guilty again, I wish Rukkha was here to encourage me.

Diary entry 258

Ellias died at the age of 49, leaving me and his son, Philip. I need to stay strong for the child and continue to raise him as my own. I wonder if my sister raised my daughter as their own as well, I hope they do.

Diary entry 290

Philip grew up and also attended the Akademiya to become an astrologist like me and his father, such a precious boy. I wonder what Y/n pursued, I hope it's something she wants. I know I left an ample amount of money for her to use.

Diary entry 360

I've gotten old, I remember being reincarnated like it was yesterday. In the end, I failed to set Nahida free from the sages. I'm sorry Rukkha, I could've done better but not to worry, the stars told me she'll find freedom when a golden comet comes. As for my little shooting star, I know you'll one day come to this world, the stars told me so. By then, I'm already gone. Such a shame our times do not overlap, they run in an opposite parallel but don't worry, I lived well. You should enjoy your life as well, my dear daughter. Always place your wish on a shooting star, they will always come true. I love you very much.

 I love you very much
