𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 | ᵂᵃⁿᵈᵉʳᵉʳ

▬ 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺

After a long long long walk, they finally reached the city of Mondstadt. The welcoming air of freedom caressed their skin upon stepping on the bridge to the city. Many people were also coming in and out of the city, Y/n was also shocked to find out that there were carriage horses all around and bringing merchant's goods.

"You look like you've never seen a horse before, just what kind of work did you come from?" The wanderer asked in a sarcastic manner.

"For your information, we also have horses in our world but we barely use them as transport since we have things we call "cars". I'm just surprised to see horses in person since where I lived from was far from horses." Y/n lectured which made him roll his eyes.

"Oh, right, Paimon keeps forgetting that Y/n is from another world like Aether. Can you tell us more about your world? Maybe Aether has already visited it with his sister." Paimon requested and Y/n happily obliged.

Y/n said that her world is called "Earth", a planet where humans like her can live and it has many nations that cannot be counted within her fingers. Y/n excitedly gushed about how technologically advanced Earth is and that visions and elemental lifeforms do not exist and are considered fantasy and fiction.

She also told them that there are places similar to Teyvat just like how Mondstadt can be compared to Germany or how Liyue is similar to China. She refrained from telling them that Teyvat nations are modeled after specific nations in her home world since they would be confused. She can't explain to them that their world is a game made by people from her world.

"Woah, you're world sounds amazing but Paimon can't imagine a world without elemental energy. Paimon feels like she won't survive there even if there were tons of food." Paimon said.

"Well you're right about that, the government will take you in and will regard you as an alien and will take you to Area 51." Y/n said which scared the floating fairy.

"W-What happens if they got Paimon?" She asked and Y/n smiled scarily, making Paimon gulp.

"They will let you drink the Among-gus potion FROM the dark web. And supposedly when you drink the Among-gus potion at 3 am, YOU will turn into the imposter from Among-gus. And when you do, they will take you as their test subject before ejecting you out to space." Y/n said with a straight and serious face which made Paimon scream and hide behind Aether.

Aether reassured Paimon that Y/n was simply trying to scare her but the fairy wasn't convinced and promised not to visit their world if she ever was given a chance to traverse the space.

"Anyway, should we check in by an inn first?" Aether asked but Y/n said they would eat first as an apology for scaring Paimon. Off they go to good hunters where it was full of people, due to their good luck they immediately got seated and Paimon ordered everything on the menu.

Before Aether can discipline his companion, Y/n told him that it was alright as she had a lot of money even after what she spent in Wangshu Inn. To him, she may be the fourth richest person in Teyvat, just below Dori.

"Can Paimon ask how much money you have? Even after all the food that Paimon ordered, you weren't even fazed." Paimon asked and the two males secretly wanted to know as well.

"Oh my, that's a secret. But if you really want to know, just come closer and I'll whisper it." Y/n said and Paimon came closer as Y/n leaned to her ear. A loud gasp came out from Paimon after knowing her wealth and Y/n told her not to tell anyone or else Y/n will send her to Area 51 herself. Paimon zipped her mouth shut until the food arrived, leaving the two curious males disappointed.

With the food on the table, they began to eat together as they enjoy Mondstadt's scenery. After their fill, a certain outrider caught a glimpse of Aether and immediately greeted him and Paimon.

"Amber, long time no see!" Paimon exclaimed and waved excitedly as she approached their table.

IT'S AMBER, SHE LOOKS LIKE HER WEBTOON VERSION. FINALLY SOME JUSTICE! I hope Diluc got the same treatment.

"And who are you with?" Amber asked as Aether introduced Y/n and the wanderer to her. He told her that they were about to look for her to take a wind gliding exam from the great wind glider herself.

"Amber, are you done buying food?" A mature female voice was heard and the spindrift knight herself appeared behind Amber. Y/n's fangirling cannot be stopped right after she saw two of her favorite knights side by side.

THE SHIP IS SAILING PEOPLE, PLATONICALLY THAT IS.

"Ah, Eula, sorry did I make you wait too long? I just saw Aether and Paimon here so I stopped by to say hi." Amber said to Eula who greeted Y/n and the others as well. Amber and Eula were about to leave when Amber told them to find her tomorrow at headquarters for the exam.

Y/n and her companions decided to head to an inn and managed to get separate rooms for the three of them. After settling down, Y/n knocked on their doors and asked if they wanted to come along to drink at a tavern.

"Paimon's still full and *yawn* sleepy, you guys can go ahead, Paimon will *yawn* stay." Paimon said. Y/n grabbed Aether and the wanderer by the arm and standing in the middle of them, she dragged them along to Angel's share.

What greeted her eyes was a blessing to have seen Diluc in person, bartending behind the counter in a nice suit. Not only that, but she also saw Venti performing in the middle as many people watch with their drinks at hand. 

My luck is crazy!  I can't believe I took two birds with one stone.

"What will you have today?" Diluc asked Y/n who looked at the menu. 

"Three dandelion wines please." She ordered and Diluc looked at her and her companions before asking their ages. 

"I'm 22 and those two behind me are over 500 years old." She whispered but Diluc was not impressed.

"And I'm 1000 years old. I've heard that reason before, it won't work here. You can have the wine but those two will have a non-alcoholic drink. Have a seat anywhere you like." Diluc said which made Y/n shrugged her shoulders.

At least I get to drink wine. A win is a win.
