Helen batted her eyelids in confusion, can he just wait for her to finish talking? And what are they going to talk about?
"Forget it, I'll just put on a show" Helen thought and kept a straight face.
"I'm sorry sir...I wanted to apply for accomodations..."
"I'm not talking about that" Elan said and got up from his chair, he came closer to her. Helen kept moving backwards until her back hit the wall behind her. No one spoke for minutes, they just looked into each other's eyes conveying deep emotions the both of them felt. Helen couldn't maintain the contact but she forced herself to look into his eyes, she heard the rumors saying that a girl can't maintain an eye contact if they're in love with you.

"You don't have to act like you don't know me" Elan was the first to speak and made a space between them wider. He was satisfied by her reaction, he could see the love in her eyes without her saying it herself and that was more than enough for him.

"I...I...I dunno what you're talking about sir" Helen stammered.
"Your reaction tells me otherwise" Elan smirked.
"Can I get the form?" Helen said and rolled her eyes.
"Call me 'babe' first" Elan said with a wide grin on his face.
Helen squinted her eyes at him, she didn't know he was shameless. Well, people change.
"Not willing? You can go home then" Elan said and returned to his seat with a satisfied smile on his face. He wanted her to beg him.

Helen looked at the man Infront of her then turned to go out. Elan saw her going out and he was speechless! She'd rather leave than calling him that? Seems like he has to work hard!

Helen went home feeling down, she met him and he is her lecturer. So what? If her mother knew about this, she'll go crazy! When she arrived home, her mother wasn't back from work yet. She went upstairs and put her books down then checked her phone.
