Monday morning:
Helen was preparing herself for school, she was feeling a lot better, thanks to Anna! Last Friday when she came back from the park she slept and did not even take anything in for dinner. Saturday morning Anna called her and they went out. Helen actually thought she won't enjoy Anna's company considering the fact that she was talkative and dramatic but she did. When she came back she was feeling better.

She was still regretting what she said to Elan last Friday but she got a pride so she wouldn't fix her mistakes. She knew she was lying when she said she wasn't in love with Elan anymore and she doesn't give a damn about him. She said all that because she was scared to let Elan in again. Scared that he'll hurt her, scared that he'll disappear again. She was also scared that if she let him in again, she might have to part with him!

A week went on without Elan talking to Helen. Helen also thought it was really over but what she doesn't know is that, Elan have been trying to figure out ways to woo her. This would be easy for other guys but not for Elan, he's really dumb when it comes to relationships. He went to City L and he never interacted with girls there, his friends were perverts and flirts but he was different. In his circle of friends, he was defined as the most handsome, hot, dull and boring human.

The real reason why he never interacted with girls was because his heart was still with Helen. He believed that Helen would wait for him and she did! Helen also believed that Elan would come back to her.

At Elan's house:
Elan was sitting on the bar place drinking, ever since that day, he's always been like this. He only reduced the raid on week days. His face was haggard, he had eye bags and dark circles under eyes.

"Bro, mommy said she's coming back on..." Irish stopped talking when she saw Elan.
"Elan no no no! Can you please stop this madness? Please..." Irish said, she was already crying.

The truth is, Irish's not an emotional person, she has the moments but it's a different story when it comes to Elan. He's always been the one close to her heart. The last time she's seen Elan like this was when their father passed away, people will think Elan healed but he didn't he just dropped his bad habits and put himself under a lot of pressure because he didn't want to see his mother in the office! He knew the pressure of that place, his father taught him that when he was still a little boy. He told him to protect two woman in his life, Irish and their mother but he also had another woman to protect, his biggest weakness, Helen.

Elan put the glass down and went to hug Irish.

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again"

"Last time you said the same thing...I want my Elan back! I know that you never healed from this shit you don't talk about, you just buried it all down deep inside your heart but please don't do this. You can talk to me, everyone cares about you. Please" Irish rambled in a broken voice

"She doesn't want me, Irish. She doesn't want me" Elan said with a shaking voice, his eyes were red.

"But we can still make a plan" Irish said and grinned, she was still burying her head in Elan's chest.

Saturday evening at Helen's house:
Helen was chilling with Anna, they just finished reading a novel and the were just chatting about random things.

"There's this cute guy I have a crush on" Anna said
"You have a crush on every cute guy" Helen said and laughed.
"This is not about the lecturer, right? I don't have a crush on him anymore...he's too cold and boring for my liking" Anna said and rolled her eyes.

Helen fought the urge to laugh. Anna actually had a crush on every cute guy and she took pictures of them secretly. Last time when they went out they almost got into trouble because one of the guys caught Anna but they lied because the guy was standing next to a statue.

"He's an actor...his name is Miguel. He plus for this drama, 'I'm in love with the dark skinned girl's'..." Anna was busy describing her crush but was interrupted by Helen's phone.

"Hello" Helen replied, it was an unknown number.
"Good evening ma'am, are we talking to Mr. McCarthy's wife?" The feminine voice on the other end replied
"Wife? No" Helen replied, shocked.
"But your number is saved as 'wife' in his phone. Mr. McCarthy got into an accident..."
