At Martin's mansion:

Helen woke up in a good mood and prepared herself for the day. She noticed that her mother has already left for work, her mother has been these days and Helen wished she could do something about it. It's been a long time since she met Elan and she missed her badly. She knew he was busy so, she didn't put him under pressure. Arriving at school she met Anna who looked like a lost puppy.

"Ok, tell me wassup?" Helen asked.

"With what?" Anna asked confused.

"Girl, come on. I can see that you're not ok" Helen replied and Anna sighed.

"Miguel is going to the states in a few days and the worst part is that he doesn't even know when he's coming back." Anna explained, she was really going to miss him.

She thought that Miguel was just a crush she was crazy about but it turned out he's more than that. She knew he was something special on Irish's birthday banquet.

"Sorry, girl but I'm pretty sure he'll come back before you even know it. He can't bear to part with his crazy girl after all." Helen said but deep down she was consoling herself. She missed Elan, just staring at his pictures all day wasn't enough. She wanted him in a flesh!

"You said I'm crazy?" Anna asked feigning her anger.

"She's crazy but she's mine,
Damn I lose my mind!
She's dancing every night..." Helen couldn't complete singing as Anna started chasing her.

They were running around the campus laughing when Helen collided with a tall handsome guy. Helen thought she was going to to fall but the guy grabbed her by the waist to stop her. Anna was surprised by the scene in front of her.

Looking at their position, she said, "she's taken bro. You can't touch another man's property like that."

Hearing this the guy looked at Anna then Helen and looked at Anna again smiling devilishly.

"Oh" he said and let go of Helen before she could even balance herself.

Helen couldn't even register what happened and she landed on floor with her butt. She moaned in pain and looked at the guy who just shrugged and walked past them.

"What the!" Anna was speechless at the guy's behavior.

"Is this guy crazy or something?" Helen said as Anna helped her up.

At the Jacob's mansion:

The maids and guards were standing in line shaking, they knew that being called in a meeting like this it was bad news! Edward came downstairs with his wife, Kathrine. Edward was surprisingly calm. They all saw the news the news headlines and they knew all hell was about to break loose.

"I know y'all saw the news headlines. At this moment, no one is allowed to enter this mention except for family, not even McCarthys are allowed. Clear?" Edward spoke calmly with authority.

All the servants knew the situation was bad and there were lots of reporters at the gate at that moment. Isn't it funny how everything can change within a blink of an eye? The family was celebrating their victory yesterday. Though the mall project was a 60/40 project, they couldn't care less. To them, as long as they stripped the McCarthy family out of the project, they were good.

"Yes, sir." The servants replied.

Before Edward could say another word, the police sirens were heard outside. At that moment, Lea came in rushing, she went to the hospital early that morning only to hear the shocking news when she was checking on one of her patients.

Ever since the McCarthy family cancelled their engagement, Lea always went to work early just to impress Elan. She really worked hard for the past few months and was hoping that things would go back to normal only to hear this news about her father.

"Dad, what happened?" Lea asked as soon as she came in. She was still wearing her hospital coat.

"You saw the news?" Her father asked back.

"Dad, did you do it?" Lea asked again. Her eyes were full of hope. She hoped that this were all false accusations.

"Lea!" Kathrine reprimanded her.

Seeing the look  in her daughter's eyes, Edward said "Kathrine, talk to your daughter. I'll go and handle the police, Edwin will be here shortly and in the meantime, stay low"

At Martin's Empire offices:

Gossips were going back and forth, they knew this day was the day to celebrate the new mall but it seemed like nobody got time for that because something bigger happened and caused commotion all over the country. The workers saw that the people in higher positions were relaxed so they also couldn't care less and paid attention to the Jacob's family scandal while pretending to do their work.

In Mrs. Pam's office:

"He'll be able to get out of this mess today" James said.

"Yes, we're going to release another information tonight that includes his brother so that they won't be able to pay attention at one thing. On the third day we'll disclose what happened between Elan and Lea three years ago. If Kathrine is capable, we'll also release her shady businesses" Mrs. Pam explained calmly and James couldn't help but look at her with eyes full of admiration."
