"At Jacob's mansion:

"Mom, tell me what's happening" Lea said to her mother anxiously after the police left with Edward.

Kathrine dismissed the servants and said,"it's nothing but mere accusations like always, Lea."

"But there are..."

"Lea, do you think your father would do such a thing as assaulting young children and his own people?" Kathrine cuts Lea off.

"No but still..." Lea dragged.

"Look, baby... Your father needs us to support him and not doubt him because of those who want to destroy his reputation"

"Amen to that" said Edwin entering the door wearing a cool smile on his face as always.

"Uncle Edwin" Lea went to greet him.

"My baby, hi. You've got this thin in just a few months? Kathrine do you feed her well?" Edwin said after patting Lea's head. Though he was ruthless when in came to business, he was a good uncle to Lea.

"Mom fed me well it's just that ive been working hard lately." Lea said embarrassed.

"I know. Hang in there, this uncle will definitely do something about it" Edwin said with a pampering smile on his face.

"Edwin, let's get down to business" Kathrine interrupted them.

"How rude!" He scoffed and continued, "I don't know who Edward offended this time but we have to be careful. McCarthy family are not involved in this."

At Elan's house:

"Whoever Edward and his family offended this time is not someone to be messed with" Mrs. Mary said after watching the news.

"Weren't they supposed to be celebrating the contract that they stripped us off" Elan asked amused by the whole situation.

"You can say that again but at least the elders will stop bothering us for some time. Use this moment to check on your girl, I'll handle other matters." Mrs. Mary said, she really liked Helen.

"That reminds me I have to talk to Irish about something" Elan said with a smile on his face.

"Don't go bothering my baby with your relationship" Mrs. Mary joked.

"Well, if she wasn't nosy I wouldn't be bothering her" Elan smirked

"That kid! I won't be surprised if she comes saying she want to be a love coach" Mrs. Mary sighed.

"I think being a psychologist would suit her" Elan said after thinking for a moment.

In Irish's car:

Irish liked to be low profile so she didn't only had one bodyguard who was also her driver. She didn't like the idea of being followed by bodyguards all day, she thought it was ridiculous. She was sitting in the passenger seat watching the news when she noticed Leon, her bodyguard was taking a different direction.

"Weren't we supposed to be taking that direction?" Irish reminded him nicely.

"Oh! This is the shortcut and there's a lot of traffic in that direction" he said.

Irish nodded and went back to minding her business. She wasn't rude, she liked talking to Leon but he was giving her a cold shoulder most of the time. Though he protected her, he remained professional and up-tight all the time.

In Mrs. Pam's office:

"Sent someone to Edward's company. There they will talk to them about this situation, if they haven't sent someone at this moment it means they expect us to listen to them" Mrs. Pam said to Chris. She just just watched the news again.

"Yes, ma'am. I also tightened Helen's security like you instructed and the spies informed that nobody's allowed in Jacob's mansion at this moment, not even the McCarthy family members." Chris informed.

"That should be expected from Edward Jacobs. If Mrs. Mary shows up at their mansion, tell the spies to make sure she gets in. It's high time that family knows they're not the ones in charge" Mrs. Pam said while playing with her pen in her hand and her eyes focused on the wall."
