15. The Fight

"FIGHT! FIGHT" The student screams as he runs down the hall notifying every one in sight

"W-what the hell!? Who and who!?"

"CHLOE! AND MARI!!"

"What the hell!-" Adrian says as he attempts to get up and run towards the kitchen Mari and Chloe are working in

"It's just a fight can you just finish this first?"

"W-What?"

"I have no time to do this shit after school could you please just sit down"

"What?!" Adrian asks again in disbelief

"What? Are you worried about your little girlfriend?"

"What!?!?!?"

"Can we just finish-"

"Hold on! Chloe isn't my girlfriend and honestly shouldn't YOU be running to rescue YOUR little girlfriend?" Adrian says with a mix of annoyance and sarcasm

"Oh shut the fuck up! Just finish the stupid research!"

"Tch do it yourself asshole!" He says walking towards the door but gets grabbed on the wrist tightly this makes him whimper in pain and slaps the hand off

"What the-"

"Don't fucking touch me!"

"My bad I'm sorry! But you are not seriously leaving me all this work just for a stupid fight are you!?"

"It's not stupid my best friend is in there!"

"Bro seriously they are probably just pulling hair! And screaming some stupid and petty ass insults at each other! Like you're ugly! Or maybe I'm not a mirror" Luka continues mocking them as he laughs not seeing the expression on Adrian's face who is eager to run out the door "oh oh! And knowing Chloe's issues she'll probably say some messed up shit about Mari's family and then Mari will say something like that's why you're dad doesn't love you! Or something stupid like you're a mistake! Haha-"

"What the hell- stop!" Adrian says pushing Luka back "why would you even say that!?"

"It's not that serious! I'm joking-"

"That's not a joke! Jokes are supposed to be funny! That shit isn't funny!! You guys are both fucking horrible! You deserve each other!" Adrian says running out the room leaving a confused Luka behind "what the fuck....?"

"Chloe! CHLOE!!" Adrian runs in the room towards Chloe and Mari who are still stuck together surrounded by students with their cameras hiding all their faces recording and not missing a second of the interaction between the two
"Chloe! What are you doing?!" Adrian says trying to rip her off of Mari for what feels like hours, finally Chloe gets up even with the messy hair and the scratches on her face anyone could tell she won but the fact that she cried while beating her opponent had everyone confused
"All of you guys leave" Adrian says "NOW! or I'll call the teacher and you will all get suspended for recor-" before he could finish everyone ran out.
He sets Chloe down on a chair and bends on one knee in-front of her looking at her face trying to figure out how to approach the situation without making her feel like he is attacking her
"Chloe?"

"Mm?" She says hicking uncontrollably

"What happened?" He says gently as he wipes her tears away.

"Marinette!? What are you doing on the floor? What happened?!" Luka says running towards her but she pays no attention to him with her gaze locked on Adrian and Chloe, Luka turns his head to see what she's looking "ugh" he rolls his eyes
"Why did you fight Mari?"

"......no reason" Mari says looking away

"You don't know?" Adrian raises an eyebrow "tell the truth why did you really fight her?"

Mari stares with a look of hurt and looks towards the window "that's not fair" she mumbles

"What?" Luka says

"He's taking care of her and all but he has not given me even one look, I'm hurt more! She only cares for her! We are friends too! I'm stupid for feeling joules but it's not fair!"

"Yeah.....I'm joules too..." Mari looks up at Luka in confusion but shrugs it off

"Why did you do that Chloe?" Adrian says still being very gentle and patient with Chloe

"Because she knows what she did but she is acting like she doesn't know anything!" Chloe says barely screaming but loud enough for both Marinette and Luka to hear
"And you know what she said when she realized!?! She said she was just doing the right thing!? But she knew! She knew!!" Tears stream down Chloe's face even more as she tries not to cry, Adrian hugs her.
From a distance Luka scratches his head in confusion "what the actual fuck is happening?" He looks at Marinette who has an expression of guilt but anger at the same time
"Mari?" Luka says "what are they talking about?"

"......nothing important-"

"SEE! You see that!?!? Nothing important!? Bitch YOU RUINED A PERSON'S LIFE AND ITS NOTHING IMPORTANT!?!?"

"How did I ruin her life?" Marinette scoffs "you two both ruined your own lives by being homosexual and disgusting!"
Luka moves his head quickly staring at Marinette in shock reacting to what she had just said

"Okay! Enough Marinette! Damnit!" Adrian says letting go of Chloe's wet face that is frozen with a hurt and shocked expression he gets up and starts to walk towards Marinette
This makes Marinette flinch and she trembles a bit not from fear but shock that Adrian did not take her side, Adrian continues to walk towards her
"Why the fuck would you say that?! what you did was wrong! And you know that!!!" He screams

"Chill out" Luka says

"Shut up Luka! This has nothing to do with you!"

"From the looks of it, it has nothing to do with you either Adrian!" He says getting up "can Chloe not speak for herself?!"

"Well it actually does have something to do with me" he walks towards Luka "see your girlfriend here has this little habit of making my friends feel like shit!"
