Addison POV

As I lay in bed next to Sofia and Jack as Finnick laying on our feet, I let my thoughts run wild after all it's now early morning and I just can't fall asleep. The good news was that Charlie pulled out a 9 which is very interesting since she comes from district 3 which is actually known for technology. our third member of the alliance little Angel pulled a score of 6 which I think is a great score since she can't do much weapon wise but I know if it came to it she could use it to save her life or end another.

Another ongoing thought running through my head is that in the arena there are no rules, no rules means if Cole finds me and I freeze? I am dead and if he does find me and I don't freak out what does that make me?

A monster?

A game piece for snow?

A killer?

A survivor?

will I even make it to the end?

could I kill Charlie? after she stood up for me?

I know that I could never hurt or kill Angel

"what do I do?" I whisper under my breath as I untangle the blanket and gently move out of the bed and walk towards the elevator and pressing the button for the roof which was something Finnick told me about and where Sofia took me on the first night.

"mum, even though I didn't get the chance to meet you, I wish you were here right now. you would know what to say and maybe you could understand what I am feeling in this moment right here" I look up to the sky looking for the star constellations that Eric would point out to me.

"we may not of got to know mum but we are together and have been since birth, I also may not know exactly what you are going through right now but I have been where you are and I am standing right here" I wipe my head around to see Jack standing there and behind him were Sofia and Finn.

"Jack is right Adds, we have been where you are, we understand" Sofia takes a step standing next to Jack as I look at Finn as my tears start to fall.

"Buttercup, if you're struggling, you can tell anyone of us. We are your family, we are here to help you come back, come home. This is where you belong with us" Finn walks right in front of me as grab his shirt and pull him into a tight hug. Sofia and Jack join the hug before we all start laughing hysterically.

"what bothering you my buttercup " Finn draws the attention to what lead us to laughing like maniacs.

"there are no rules in the arena, anything can happen" I said summarising my thoughts.

"yeah, what about it"Jack asks as Finn and Sofia look at each other before they nod.

"Jack, this is about Cole"Sofia tells him as Jack wraps his arms around me as I lean on his shoulder.

"if there are no rules and I freeze like I do every time he touches me then how am I meant to walk away from the games, how am I meant to come out of this .... alive " I mumble but I know they understood.

"you have Charlie and she has already knock a bit of sense into them all and walked away with a sore lip"Jack points out.

"yeah but if the careers and Cole catch Addy that is 3 vs 5 and Angel is only 12"Sofia states as I let out a sigh. There is no way in hell Cole will touch Charlie or Angel.

"what if we send her a sign when they are close?"Finn speaks up.

"Like what?" I ask as we all think.

"what about something about Eric or Dustin" Jack asks
