Chapter 15 Demon of the undead

The Next day

February 26th, 2023

Mall

Jongho POV:

It is the middle of the day. Hongjoong told all of us to go out shopping for new clothes. I wasn't much of a shopping since it involves being around of lot of people. Being able to hear people thought gets annoying since there were times I couldn't control the mind reading. "You alright Hun?" I heard as I felt gentle hand taking a hold of mine.

"I'm fine babe, just think of something is all" I said to Y/n while lightly squeezing his hand back. Not really liking showing some kind of affection in public. Holding Y/n hand was enough for me in public since I like things more private when I'm with him.
"Have you gotten what you need?" We been in the mall for more then an hour and all Y/n an I were doing was walking around. "I believe so" Y/n looked at his bag as he was making sure that he had everything. "Jongho, Y/n over here!" We heard as I turn to see Yeosang and Seonghwa waving to us with bags in their own hands. Heading over to where they were, Seonghwa told us that Hongjoong an the other were already back at the mansion waiting for us. "Couldn't wait for us huh" Slightly annoyed by the others, I felt Y/n lightly squeeze my hand an it calmed me down.

"Let's get going before any unwanted visitors comes by" Yeosang said as we all left the mall and head towards a car Seonghwa bought so we can blend in with the humans. Once we were inside the car and drove to the mansion. I heard someone thoughts as it didn't sound like any normal human i heard before:

"They'll never see it coming!"

"These vampires and the human are gonna be so dumb when their fall for our trap"

"This time I'll have the human soul or I'll be a disgrace to my family" 

"Seonghwa, make a detour to the mansion" Looking into the rear view mirror, Seonghwa nodded his head as took car into a drive away from the mansion.

Y/n POV:

Hearing Jongho suggest taking a detour to the mansion. I had a feeling that demons were around us or at least following us. During the drive, I felt the burning pain started up as I gripped my shirt while trying to hold back a groan. Yeosang looking behind him to see me as he know that the pain has started up. "Shit, we need to find a spot to call the others" Yeosang said as Jongho nodded his head and closed his eyes as if he has telepathy to talk to the others. 

Seonghwa pulled the car to a park as he parked it and got out quickly to get me out of the car. Once we all were out of the car and Seonghwa helped me walk into the forest. I gripped onto him as the pain was getting worst and I left like my body was burning from the inside out. "Y-Yunho" As I called out the Yunho, the same strong wind moved around us as Yunho, Wooyoung and the others appeared. "We got ya Y/n" Yunho said as he and Wooyoung took me into their arms and cool me down as much as they could.

"I don't think so you blood suckers" We all heard as a demon with tarnish clothes and dead animals wrapped him appeared. "You guys just keep on coming don't you!" Hongjoong growled as he and the other surrounded me to prevent the demon from keep close to me.  "If you only have given us the human would things be so much easier for everyone but you just prevent everything from happening" The royal demon said as the ground started to shake causing the guys to get defensive as the ground broke and dead bodies appeared out to the surface.
"Some walking dead kind of horror shit going on here" I said as Yunho nodded his head and Wooyoung kept close. "Now lets get started shall we" The demon said as he snapped his finger an the undead beings charged at us. There was like more then 20 undead being attacked us an no matter what we do to them. The 'zombies' as what I call them just keeps coming back which was pissing the guys off more.

Wooyoung POV:

"Damnit we need to get rid of these damn corpses" I said while sending a corpses to another and watch as they break each other but comes back together again. Growling at that sight, I turn to see Y/n struggling to stand as the marking at was glowing is effect him badly. "shit, Seonghwa now would be that best time to use your damn fire ability!" I said to Seonghwa who froze for a second as if he had forgotten about that ability of his. As he started to us it, I use my ability's to copy his and use his ability as well to burn each corpses to ashes.

"Not bad, but can you handle me now!" The demon said as he charged at Seonghwa an smirk as he punched Seonghwa an sent him towards a tree. "*Groans*" Seonghwa hissed in pain as the demon turn towards me and did the same thing but San interfered. "Clever idea but not clever enough" San was sent flying towards Y/n and they both collided and skidded across the ground. San groan while Y/n whine as I glared and hit the demon enough times to send him skidding across the ground.

Y/n POV:

"Fuck" I groan in severe pain when the demon send San towards me and we collided. The impact was strong enough that i knew and heard a few bones in my rib has creaked or broke. "You bastard!" Wooyoung yelled as he landed a good few punches to the demon as it send the demon back a bit. "You annoying pest!" The demon growled as he charged toward the guys and send a few of them far from the rest of us. In pain I was, I watch as the guys fight the demon and kept him away from me as possible as they could.

Watching from a far, I saw something that looked like black tar oozing from the demons back. And if I knew anything better, tars are very flammable and since this demon was the undead demon. I hissed at the pain as I got up and quickly stagger over to Seonghwa who was near by an got down onto my knees to his level. "Y/n.. *Hisses in pain*" The impact the demon did to Seonghwa was painful an know blood was gonna be the source to heal the injury. "Bite me and heal, The demon is has a weak spot!" I said to Seonghwa as he looked at me before my wrist and bit into it.

Just enough to get back onto his feet Seonghwa took from my blood. Seonghwa pulled away and got up while helping me up as well. "We need to set him on fire, his blood is black tar and if we can get close you need to use you fire ability on him" I whisper to Seonghwa as he kept quiet and nodded his head. When everyone was each down or was somewhere else at the moment, I sent Seonghwa away for a moment to get the demon attention. "For a demon who is a royal, you are sucking at your job" I said loud enough for him to hear and turn to glare at me.
Before I could move to get away. The demon was in front of me and gripped my neck as it slammed me against the tree behind me. "You really are asking for a quick death" The demon growled as he tighten his grip around my neck. Groaning at the pain my body was enduring, I could hear Hongjoong and the other screaming my name out as the demon smirk. "Any last words human" The demon taunt as he was ready to break my neck. "Fire..." I smirk as the vision was started to darken from the lack of air.

"What...*Roars loudly in pain*!" Just in time, Seonghwa send a fire at the demon and the black tar was being ingulf in flames. Dropping me to the ground as I gasp for air, the demon tries to stop the fire from consuming it body but if spread faster then any other fire as the demon roar while being burned away and dies to the fire. "Good...riddens..*Coughs loudly*" I said collecting myself from the lack of air as I looked to see the others. Yeosang, Wooyoung and Mingi who was sent somewhere in the forest appear as injured like the rest of us. "Y/n" Seonghwa and Jongho came over to me an help me up as much as I groaned in pain from the broken ribs.
