"She fucking walked in on you?" Tae's eyes shot out of his head a smile growing on his face from the drama.

"Yeah." I sighed spinning in my office chair. "She wasn't really mad just hurt."

"Just divorce her Jiminah" Tae said.

"No way. I do love her."

"Sure you do." Tae teased. "So how'd you get her to forgive you."

I winced. "I told her I'd do anything. Give her anything. I booked us a couples spa day." I smiled.

"Is that what she wanted? A spa day? Just like that all is well?"

"Not exactly." I spun again in the chair. "She wants a family. I told her we could visit that fertility clinic."

"Thats right she's infertile right?"

"Something like that." I shrugged.

"So a baby is the answer?"

I shrugged again. I didn't think so. But if a baby meant she wouldn't leave me.... "Maybe it's time I give up on cheating. Maybe it is time to have a family."

"Are you convincing me or yourself Jiminah?" Tae stared at me.

I wish I could answer that.

We walked into the fertility clinic hand in hand

We walked into the fertility clinic hand in hand. She looked excited. I was nervous. It looked like any other doctors office, the main difference was the hefty fees and prices.

She checked in and was handed a clip board with several packets of questions to answer about each of us.

"Maybe we should wait?" I looked at her.

She frowned. "If you aren't ready..."

"I'm just nervous I guess." I grabbed one of the pens and packets and began to fill it out. Guilt was eating me alive, but also after this stress I just wanted to go hang out with Tae. I decided one last night couldn't hurt. She didn't have to know. I smiled at the idea and checked off the small questions about my health.
