Hello all, I'm back!

After nearly 5 years I have decided to do some work and actually try to finish this thing. Why? Truth to be told I have been struggling a great deal with writer's block in recent months which have resulted in me not being able to work on my professional projects. As a last resort and hope to get back my passion for writing I decided to take a second look at this, somewhat less demanding story. In many ways this is me working on my writing as well as simply taking a walk down memory lane back to a time when I wrote purely for fun and not out of obligations.

In order to this and give you all the story I so dearly think you deserve I have decided to do this properly - meaning that I am going through each chapter, editing and changing things as I go. This means that there more than likely will be quite a few changes, that might be confusing for old readers who continue where they left of. I therefore urge all to take a second look at the story as to not miss anything. I will try to finish the editing process as quickly as possible so I can move on to continuing the story, but as you probably can imagine it will be a lot of work. I hope you all have patience with me throughout this process.

Upon writing this the prologue and the first two chapters are already edited. I truly do hope you will enjoy it. I'll try to keep most of it but will take some creative liberties to make the story fit my new vision and new writing style. Rewriting what you wrote 5 years ago takes work, lemme tell you lol. This also means there will be a lot of changes as I continue after this when I no longer have to take my previous work into consideration. But I hope that no one will be too displeased with the story moving forward.

Before ending this I want to say thank you to everyone that has supported me over the years. I started writing on here the year I turned 14, meaning I was a mere 13 years old as I wrote my first story on here - "Like Father, Like Daughter?". That year, 2018, I also started writing this story, and continued doing so throughout the beginning of 2019. Throughout the years I struggled a lot with looking back at my old stories, especially as the first story grew somewhat in popularity and garnered over 340k reads. I had a hard time seeing anything but the flaws of my own work. It was my first time writing in English as my native language so happens to be Swedish, and for while I couldn't feel anything but shame as I looked at 13 year old me's botched grammar and simplified plot lines.

I am soon to be 19 now, and while I still have much growing to do I have at least learnt to look back at myself with kindness. I no longer hate the work I used to put out, and as I look back I can nothing but applaud that 13 year old's courage as she put out her first ever English story into the world without hesitation. Now, several years later and a lot of more experience writing and publishing, although mostly in my native language, I feel confident continuing her work. I am doing this, as I mentioned above for myself, but also for you guys. For those who have supported me over a years and slid into my dms asking for updates. I haven't gotten back to all of you, but I have  read every single message, the positive feedback a beacon of reassurance even in my darkest hours.

Thank you all, from me and that 13 year old girl from so long ago.

This is for you guys.

Much love,

Mustang

xx

PS. I highly recommend following me as I post all news on my writing and information regarding this story in my feed. Self promotion lol.
