I woke up with a massive headache and a slight remembrance of what happened last night. All I remembered was Jack. It was like memories of him fading in and out of my head. I must've been drinking a little last night since when I got home. I was in my bed and my phone was on the charger next to me. I was still in my dress though. Drew must've brought me to my bed. I checked my phone with a text from Drew, texts(plural) from Jack, and missed calls from an agency. Jesus, Heaven help me. First I looked at Drew's text.
"Put you in your bed last night since you were wasted. I really don't approve of you drinking Nora, you know that. Also, that Jack guy has been blowing up your phone, hasn't he?"
Great. He doesn't need to be telling me what I should and shouldn't do, he's not my mom. And he shouldn't be looking at my texts. I decided to look at Jack'a texts next.
"Hey, you left your bag in the car again. Baileys going out of town for a bit so I said I'd give it to you. Meet me at ************** , 1:00 pm, for lunch?"
"You don't have to go if you don't want to."
"Sorry, that sounded really passive-aggressive."
"Just let me know when you can, thanks Elenora."
Oh.My.God. I felt like I was about to pass out. Lunch, with Jack?! Alone?! I had to take some deep breaths and calm myself down. It's just lunch with a friend, it's just lunch with a friend. It does make me glad I left my clutch though. Then I decided to answer calls from the agency. I never did usually since it was always for a ripoff movie. I called them back and was immediately met by someone.
"Hello! You must be Elenora Ambrose. I'm Tyler Gillet, director of the rumored Scream 6 movie."
My heart stopped
"Yes that's me, what can I do for you, Mister Gillet?"
I had to stay professional.
"It's good to hear from you, Miss Ambrose. I would like to talk to you about some casting we'd like to have you for."
"Wow, that's amazing to hear. I'm fully listening."
"We'd like to ask you to act for a character we had in mind for you. Her name is Tara Carpenter." (Please don't ask how Elenora and Melissa Barrera look alike okay, js act like they do please🙏)
"I would be delighted to! It sounds like a fun role and I would put in my best effort."
"Wonderful. We'll call you tomorrow with more details. We just pulled your old audition tapes from the Outerbanks files and immediately fell in love with the way you act. We are happy to be working with you, Miss Ambrose."
"As well am I. Thank you for your consideration."
Then we hung up. Excitement bubbled up in me and I danced around my room,
"IM GONNA BE IN SCREAM SIX!" I yelled out loud. I checked the time and realized it was 12:30 and I had lunch with Jack in 30 minutes. I quickly ran into the shower and put on a cute outfit.
