"Hey Y/N come join us!" Mina shouted.
"O-Oh I don't know... I don't really want to get my tail wet right now." You told them.
"It'll be fine. If it makes it better, I'll blow dry it for you!" Momo stated but you shook your head.
"Okay fine! I don't care that much about my tail... I can't swim..." You finally admitted.
"You can't swim?" Hagakure questioned.
"No... but that's also the reason why I didn't go anywhere near Midoriya, Tsu, or Mineta during the attack on the USJ! I was afraid you guys were gonna drown me!" You yelled, loud enough for even the boys to hear what you said.
"Aww!! That's so adorable, Y/N!" The girls squealed and you began to blush from embarrassment.
"Stop that! I'll claw at you guys so many times you won't be able to- AHHH!" You started but was cut off by Ochaco pulling you into the water.
You had a frown on your face as the girls were laughing. "See it wasn't that bad, Y/N." Hagakure mentioned and you flicked her off.
Of course she ignored that and suggested you all play with the beach ball she brought. You couldn't help to steal small glances at Bakugou.
Your heart had this weird feeling again. It wasn't like when the teachers decided to allow you to freely use your quirk. This was different.
Your heart was beating so fast that you felt like it was going to jump out of your chest and it felt like butterflies were swirling around in your stomach. Your tail even started to wag underwater. You didn't know what this feeling was but you had mixed feelings about it.
"Y/N..." Tsu whispered getting your attention.
"Hm?"
"Were you staring at Bakugou?" She asked you and your face began to warm up. By now all of the girls were focusing their attention onto you
"What?! Nooooo! I wasn't!" You responded.
"Wait! Do you like him?!" Mina whispered yelled.
"Wait, what? No... I think... I don't even know what it feels like to like someone." You responded.
"Wait... you don't?" Ochaco asked.
"Umm... no... I haven't exactly interacted with people for years so I can't possibly tell what that feeling is." You explained and they all frowned at you.
The girls all just felt like your entire situation was so sad. They didn't know what happened to you but they felt so upset for the fact that you've been isolated for who knows how long.
"Well... when you looked at Bakugou, what did you feel?" Momo asked.
You took one glance at the ash blond. "I-... my heart started racing and it felt like it'll beat out of my chest. I felt like I have butterflies swirling in my stomach and my face gets so warm. Even my tail starts wag." You explained looking back at the girls.
"He's just so amazing. His quirk is so amazing and I just can't help but to admire him for that. He works so hard at being a hero and I want to be able to be just as good as him." You continued and they began to squeal.
"Y/N! YOU'RE IN LOVE!!" The girls yelled but not loud enough for the boys to hear them.
"WHAT THE HELL?! NO IM NOT!"
"Yes you are! You've showed all of the signs of being in love. You can't deny them now." Mina squealed.
"No! That's impossible!" You stated.
"Fine then! Let's just test it then." Momo said as the girls got out of the pool.
"Wait! What are you girls doing?!" You asked them, getting out of the pool yourself, making sure you shook the water of you, especially your tail.
"You'll find out..." Kyoka smirked.
"I'm not like this..." You stated, following after them.
Momo overheard the boys talking about a swim competition and asked Iida if all of the girls could. And of course he said yes.
You started to internally panic.
All of the boy raced and in the end, Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugou were the winners of their rounds so they were now in finals.
"On your marks, get set. Go!" Iida announced
All of them were about to use their quirks to see who would win but then their quirks were erased.
It's 5pm. Your authorized pool time is officially over. Hurry up and go home." Aizawa demanded.
"Come on, just one second?!" Kaminari asked.
"We were finally getting to the good part!" Sero added.
"Are you questioning me?" Aizawa asked with a glare.
"Not at all, Mr. Aizawa!" You all responded but you were so mad that Aizawa didn't let the race continued.
"I bet you wanted Bakugou to win didn't you?" Mina whispered.
"Mina! Stop! I didn't actually. I wanted it to be a fair race so I didn't care who won because in the end everyone is a winner-" You spoke.
"Just say you wanted Bakugou to win." Kyoka told you.
"No! I didn't!" You raised your voice.
"Sure you didn't..." Ochaco smirked.
And with that, all of you went to the your designated locker rooms to change out of your swimsuits.
Aizawa wanted to see you after you got ready in the teachers lounge. In there he told you that Midnight would be out of town for majority of the summer so you'd be staying with him. So you and him went to her house to get some clothes and stuff for you and headed to his house.

"Hey... Tsukauchi, can we talk?" Aizawa asked, going into the police station.
"Hm? Oh what is it, Aizawa?" He asked.
"It's kinda of a strange request but..." Aizawa paused, wondering if this is right.
He scratched the back of his head. "Do... do you think you can order a DNA test?" Aizawa asked.
Tsukauchi eyes widened. "A DNA test. Why? And for who?" He asked.
"Wait... is it for... Y/N?" Tsukauchi asked.
"...Yes... it's for her..." Aizawa implied.
"You think that... she's your daughter?" Tsukauchi asked and Aizawa nodded.
"But that's impossible! She was pronounced dead months after she went missing!" He told him.
"I know! But I still want to try!" Aizawa yelled.
"Everyday, I see her and she just reminds me of my daughter. I want to stop thinking about it but I can't." Aizawa stated.
"When I first saw her back at the USJ. I saw my daughter. And ever since then it's just been on my mind." Aizawa explained.
"But that could mean you're just mourning her death!-" Tsukauchi started.
"So you just think that her having the EXACT same first name as my 'dead' daughter and the EXACT same last name as my wife is just a coincidence?" Aizawa asked him and Tsukauchi got really quiet.
Tsukauchi sighed. "I'll order a DNA test to be sent in." He finally gave in.
