She was gone.

Taken by another.

Adrina Yele had left this Castle.

And she had left me.

How could she do that after everything I had done - we had done - to ensure her safety?

After all those lies that we've fed her so carefully, after all those facts, twisted and turned to our favour? After everything I told her about her father, about her heritage?

Why did she leave - or how did she find out, that...

I don't think I have ever felt such rage before, such bitterness.

Finding her, keeping her here, trying to win her, carefully, ever so carefully...
Right from the beginning I had known that she wasn't a person who trusted others easily. If ever. But I had given my best, my very best.

I had lured her into that trap, and once she'd been inside, the door had fallen shut.

And I had done my very best to entice her.

But now it seemed, like I have failed.

It seemed like we have failed.

But failure wasn't an opportunity.

She had left, yes, fled, yes, but I will not let her run away from me.

Never.

She's mine.

She was, and she will be. Again.

She's too important, her worth is simply too high to risk losing her.

And she's the key.

She's the key to the Isle of Gnys, to the artefact.

But now she's with him.

And I can't hate the fact more, that of all the people, it's him who has her, right now.

I will bring her back.
