Chapter 9 - Stupid boy

September 6th 1976

-BANG!

The door to the balcony slammed open, me and Noah jumped back from eachother and both faces turned pink from embarresment and suprise , of which mine quickly turned into a scowl, as in the doorway to the balcony stood no other than Robin Arellano. Fucking Dick.

"Ooooooo whats going on here then", he said mockingly with a smirk, leaning against the doorframe, while my embarresment quickly dissolved into anger, the spark in the air, had quickly and long gone fizzled out as soon as we had stepped back. There goes my first kiss, down the drain like nothing because of a stupid boy named Robin Arellano. I balled my hand into a fist my nails digging into my skin.

Noah saw the anger on my face, and sensed the tension between the two of us. He grabbed my other hand and lifted it up and kissed it. "I will see you soon, madame" He said bowing before me and walking out of the balcony, I smiled slightly and nodded at him, before turning to face Robin again.

Robin watched with a sneer at Noah as he walked though the doors while Noah gave him a stiff nod, walking into the loud party once more. After him, Robin shut the blacony doors behind him. While I burned holes through the back of his head the whole time he was turned around. He then faced me. Smirking.

"Nice party you got going here princesa" He said leaning his back against the door. "You weren't invited Arellano, so why the fuck are you here." I spat, still seething with anger from him destroying my moment with Noah a few minutes ago. "Well thats a lovely warm welcome, considering what I just walked in on Woods, what ...with you about to eat eachothers faces and all" He said chuckling at his own words. "We were not. tu cono (you cunt)and stop avoiding the fucking question"  I said gritting my teeth and folding my arms. "Deny all you want princesa, I saw what I saw and for the matter, your mother invited me and my mother, the two of them go to some sewing club or something together. Believe me, I didn't come here on my own free will." He also said in an annoyed tone rolling his eyes. "Don't call me that." I said angrily. "Call you what" He said standing up straight, and folding his arms over his chest. In the action, I couldn't help but stare at his arms as his muscles buldged against the white shirt he was wearing. I quickly flicked my eyes back to the floor hoping he hadn't noticed.

"Princesa?" He questioned raising an eyebrow. I didn't say anything, and was about to go past him through the open door, when his hand grabbed my wrists pinning them above my head and while I struggled he brought his face down to mine and said "What would you rather me call you, slut? Whore? because those are the names you deserve, the way I treat you is queen treatment then to what others think of doing to you, so don't ever tell me what to not call you again you worthless piece of shit." He said, his eyes then flickered down to my chest, and they lingered there, and I smirked, he noticed this, but letting go of me he just  walked back to the party, while I stood there touching the place where his hand had just been. "Hijo de puta" I whispered under my breath, while still trying to catch my breath. I stayed on the balcony for a few more minutes then fixed my dress and moved a strand of hair from my face,before heading back inside.

I walked  back inside with a smile on my face, because I didn't quite know what to do, Robin hated me I knew this,but to hear him put it into words ripped my heart just a little bit more. So what he saves me once when we were 8, then thinks he can just treat me like shit, is that how that works now.

I found myself walking over to a table where Ziggy sat with a confused expression on her face, while Maddy was sat there smirking as I walked over. "Hey,Whats up with you and Robin" Ziggy asked, a confused expression still evident on her face, but she looked a little sad also, but I didn't say anything about, I just thought it was her RSF. "Nothing, he just came onto the balcony for some fresh air too." I said blankly, because I knew if I said what really happened, she'd beat the shit out of him, along with maddy. I told Maddy about Robin right when it fist started, she understood, after I told her not to beat him up(mostly because he would end up in a body bag faster than I could snap my fingers). And she said she wouldn't but, I know if I told either of them, they'd kill him.

"Mhm, that sure ain't what that looked like." Gwen said sitting down in a chair and sipping on a drink, joining the coversation. "What's that supposed to mean?" I said suspisiously. "Oh nothing..." She said trailing off, "Only he was dancing." Ziggy said. "And then he saw you with Noah..." Maddy said. "And he had a drink..." Gwen said. "And somehow ended up on the balcony...very angry, yes" Ziggy said. "Almost like he was jealous or something" Gwen said raising an eyebrow, swirling the straw around in her cup looking at it. "So strange..." Maddy said mockingly with a half smirk, leaning her head against her hand.

"Shut the fuck up, all of you. There's nothing going on between me and Robin, he's a cunt, and I hate him. He also hates me so.. so..so there." I said crossing my arms and jutting my chin out, but  stuttering slightly at the end because I failed to make a good comeback. The table went silent for a few moments, until Gwen got up once again "Well...If you don't like him ya don't like him but I am going to go find a cute boy to dance with for the slow dance, Maddy Ziggy, you coming with?" She said, looking at me with a hopeful gaze. "I'll come gwenny, those two are lazy-ass teenagers who are wasted, I think their fine." Maddy said laughing and standing up also, gwen linking arms with her, then gwen bent down to me and whispered "Just no baby-making alright" I hit her arm, to which she just laughed, winked and blew me a kiss, wlaking off with my cousin.

Ziggy sat there, watching the whole thing, she was quiet, she's been too quiet. Ever since I came off the balcony. We sat there in silence, my eyes scanning the room, uncounsiously landing on Robin, who had a bored expression on his face while he talked to some girl who had jet black hair, he just nodded every couple of seconds, looking into the drink he had in his hand, swirling it around every so often, he must have felt my eyes on him, because he looked up from his drink and looked right into my eyes, then looking away with a Guilty? look on his face. "El?" Ziggy said. I turned to face her once more, "Yeah zig whats up?" I said sighing. "I thought you hated Robin" she said. "I do-" "No you don't" she said cutting me off. "You never have, I think you just convinced yourself you did,". She said with a dull expression on her face. I opened my mouth to say something, closing it again. She then put a smirk on her face that sent her straight back to old ziggy, "You know what I think..." She said grabbing my hands and placing hers on top of mine, lowering her voice, and glancing around "I think you like him." She whispered.

She cackled as I hit her arm, "I do not, and I already told you, there is no way in hell I'll ever like Robin Arelllano" I said determined. "You wanna make that a bet? fine 10 bucks that you guys will date before your 18" she said smirking, "Deal." I said and we shook hands . "This is gonna be easy money," She said under her breath, I still heard her though, and hit her again while she just shrugged her shoulders while standing up. "Forget about boys, we have eachother, thats all we're ever going to need, now come  on dance with me" She said smiling grabbing my hands and leading me onto the dance floor once more.

We were spinning eachother round and laughing so hard I thought I was going to piss myself, then a switch partner dance came up, so of course everyone decided to do it, it was sort of english dancing but everyone knew that better anyway. I faced bruce first, we bowed smiling, then his hand went onto my waist while mine went on his shoulder,"Are you enjoying your birthday?" he asked quietly, I smiled "Very much" we swayed and spun then switched, then I was with Noah all of a sudden, "Ma lady, long time no see." He said smirking, I giggled, I had danced with billy, finney,vance, gwen, ziggy, donna and even griffin.

I was currently dancing with maddy, when it was time to switch I landed in the arms of Robin, who looked just as shocked to see me dancing, I frowned but he didn't give me a rude remark  or anything like that and what was weird is that he then smiled at me, but not like he usually does with a sneer or smirk, but a nice way, like somehow he could actually be decent towards me. He also held me gently and when it was time for us to spin around and him to lift me up he did it with ease, and placed me down gently, rather than dropping me staright on my ass like I thought he would. And then he said something that almost made me go into cardiac arrest from shock;

"Te ves hermosa esta noche princesa por cierto " He whispered, I looked up in confusion, to see if he was joking or not. His eyes told me he wasn't, before I could say anything we switched partners, then just like that all I could focus on was how his chocolate brown eyes had looked into mine while we had danced, and why he changed so quickly in less than 30 mins, one minute he had me pinned against a door and the next he was dancing with me like we don't  hate eachothers  guts, and he didn't just call me a slut. We do hate eachother though, right?
