Both Jimmy and Johnny's phones went off but it was only Johnny that pulled his phone out and looked at it to see that it was a message from Val.
"We better go, Val is messaging me asking where we're at." Johnny stated without looking up from his phone.
So they said their goodbyes to Charlotte's parents and walked out of the house. But once they got outside, Charlotte heard sniffling so she looked around and saw one of her good friends, Danielle sitting on the steps of the next door neighbor's house, which was also Danielle's parents house.
"Danielle?" Charlotte questioned as she walked over, "What's wrong, why are you crying?"
Danielle and Charlotte had become friends when her parents moved next door to Charles and Joann. And in the process of becoming friends, Charlotte had gotten Danielle a job where she worked.
"Oh hey Charlotte." She spoke softly as she quickly wiped her face off, "Uh nothing's wrong." She lied because she didn't want her friend to worry about her.
"Dani, you know damn well you can't fool me." She leaned down in front of her and grabbed her hands, "What happened?"
"Mitch broke up with me, guess he decided he didn't want to date an exotic dancer anymore, even went as far as accusing me of fucking our clients. So since I didn't have anywhere else to go I packed my bags and came here. Only to realize I didn't have the key to get in." She explained with a sigh.
"Awe babe." She frowned as she pulled her into a hug. "Well fuck him, he's a jerk who doesn't deserve you. Just cause we work in places like that doesn't mean, we'd ever cheat on our guys with these clients.
"I wish I would have listened to you, I'm sorry."
When Danielle first started seeing Mitch, he seemed like a pretty cool guy but regardless Charlotte didn't care for him, and was getting bad vibes from him. But she kept her mouth shut, that is until he asked Danielle to move in with him. Charlotte spoke up saying that she didn't think it was a good idea, that it was too soon in their relationship to take that step. But being the good friend that she was, she still supported Danielle's decision even if she didn't agree with it.
"Don't be sorry babe, it's totally okay. We all make mistakes." She said as she pulled out of the hug and pushed Danielle's hair behind her ears.

When Jimmy first looked at Danielle, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever laid eyes on, despite her crying. And he hated when people were sad, so he let the girls have a moment before he wanted to walk over there to see if he could cheer her up.
Jimmy started to walk over but Johnny grabbed his arm, "Jimmy stop, she doesn't know us so don't go over there yet, especially since she's upset, it might make her more upset." He stated even though he knew Jimmy wasn't going to listen.
And he didn't, cause he pulled his arm out of Johnny's grip, "Nah, I doubt it will. Plus I want to make her feel better. A beautiful girl like that doesn't deserve to be crying." He grinned then walked over closer to the girls.
"So whose ass do we need to kick for hurting your beautiful friend Charlotte?" Jimmy asked once he got closer to them.
Him talking though, caused Danielle to jump a little only cause she wasn't expecting to hear someone else's voice but as the girls looked over at him, she smiled slightly.
"My boyfriend broke up with me tonight. But no one needs to get physically hurt over it. Karma will get him." She shrugged. "Anyways, who the hell are you guys?"
"The names Jimmy, this here is Charlotte." He said motioning to Charlotte.
That caused both girls to look at each and roll their eyes as Danielle barely giggled while looking back at the guys, "I know who she is duh." She then pointed at Johnny "But I was talking about him too."
