Today was New Years Eve and of course, because of where Charlotte works, most of the girls have to work because usually that's one of the busiest nights. Which was okay with Charlotte because they also get extra pay and most of the time the customers tip really great during their time there.
And since she worked the night before, she had slept most of the morning away.
"Oh great." She groaned when she noticed it was just past noon.
So she got out of the bed and headed straight to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee but as she was waiting for it to be done, she had gotten a nauseous feeling in her gut and her head started feeling a little woozy. Which she thought it was weird because she only had a few shots the night before so she knew it couldn't be because of a hangover. And as best as she could, she shrugged it off, hoping some coffee and something to eat will make her feel better.
But she couldn't be more wrong, as the feeling didn't go away. So she decided to try the next best thing she could think of, she took a hot shower and even that didn't work.
She decided maybe laying down and closing her eyes might help but as she was laying there with her eyes closed, visions of the club flashed through her. And it wasn't happy visions of her normal work nights, no these were as if they were taken out of a horror movie, there was red on a few of the girls, one of them being Danielle, people running out of the club scared for their life, and some random female with a gun in her hand shooting at anyone that got in her way.
The visions made her sit up so quick but when she did, she had to put her hands to her head because she had gotten light headed. She had to keep telling herself that it was just a bad dream, that's all, even if those visions were so realistic.
When she walked into the living room, there on the coffee table was something that kinda freaked her out a bit. There was a note that just said 'Don't go to work tonight'. She furrowed her eyebrows together as she stared at it then crinkled up the paper and threw it away. She wondered who the hell did that, figuring it had to be one of her family members that were fucking with her.
She decided she'd just watch some television to distract her mind but when she did, it got even weirder for her because every channel she came across was scenes begging people not to go, not to leave somewhere and there was even stuff what would show up about past killings and massacres that have happened. And she couldn't understand what the hell was going on or what it all meant.
As she went to shut the T.V off, in big letters there was 'Stay home' before it actually shut off which caused her to hit the power button again and what was on the channel had nothing to even do with what message she had saw. And so when she hit the power button again, the same message she saw on the paper showed on the screen before it had went off again.
"What the hell is going on?" She groaned out, it had her really confused.
But all of a sudden, there was a bang, which caused her to jump and when she looked over, it was Lennox coming in from outside so it made her relax knowing it was him that made the sound.
"Oh hey, you're awake. Sweetheart can you help with the remaining stuff that's still in the car?" Joann asked after she followed him into the house.
"Uh yeah, sure." She nodded then took a deep breath and let out before she stood up.
"Everything okay?" Joann asked as she could sense something was was wrong with her daughter.
"I don't know honestly. Mom, have you ever get these bad feelings and signs before something actually happens?"
"Nope, can't say I ever have." She shook her head, "Why do you ask?"
"Oh uhm no reason." She shook her head and walked out to her mom's vehicle.
