Charlotte woke up and rubbed her eyes as she groaned a little and realized she was no longer feeling pain in her head. And as she went to put her hand where she had gotten hurt, it registered that she was hearing the sound of water, which to her was weird as it wasn't supposed to rain. But she thought maybe it was someone running water to wash the blood off of her but as she opened her eyes, she glanced around to see that she was outside. And as her vision became more clear she glanced around to see that she was outside and that she wasn't even at her parents house. On one side of her had nothing but trees and the other side was a small river and the water sound that she was hearing was a waterfall that was coming down into the river.
"What the hell?" She furrowed her eyebrows as she sat up quickly and turned towards the waterfall.
"It's beautiful isn't it?"
She heard come from a male's voice so she whipped her head around to see her brother sitting there by her. She was so focused on the water that she hadn't felt his presence nor heard him sit beside her.
"Joey?" She choked out, "How the hell?" She thought she was imagining things so she rubbed her eyes and when she looked again, he was still sitting there, "Where the hell am I?"
"You're in part of my heaven." He smirked as he motioned around them with his hands as he glanced around.
"Your heaven? That means, that means I'm dead?" Her eyes went wide, she can't be dead yet, how could she be when she didn't realized she hit her head that hard to do enough damage to kill her.
"Nah." He shook his head, "Don't worry, you're only dreaming." He than gave a cheesy grin to her. "Your time isn't over yet."
Him saying that caused her to breath out a sigh of relief, but then she frowned.
"Just like your time shouldn't have been over yet neither but yet you're here in this heaven." She sniffled as she held her hands out slightly.
"Because I made a stupid choice and didn't listen to anyone when I should have."
"Yeah you should have but it's unfortunately too late for that." She frowned out, he was the last person she wanted to lose.
"But it's not too late for you. It's your destiny for you and Johnny to grow old together. We all know how you two truly feel about each other."
"Well yeah, we're best friends. That's it." Even though she said that, she knew it was a lie because she did care for him more than just a friend, but she knew that Johnny didn't care for her more than as a friend, he never has and never will.
"Oh come on Charlotte, that's bullcrap, you love him more than a friend. You have for a while now. Like that night you started flirting with Brian Haner and then kissed him, it wasn't because of anyone turning you down, it was because of the fact that Johnny was chasing after Lacey. And how about the last time you two were together sexually, you even confessed your feelings for him before you realized he didn't hear a word you had said."
"Oh you think so? And how would you know because that happened after you." She couldn't even finish her sentence since it was all after he had passed away that, that stuff even happened.
"Just because I'm here Charlotte doesn't mean I don't look over you guys. I'm able to see everyone." He stood up, grabbed her hands and pulled her up, "See for yourself." He then pulled her to the waters edge then waved his hand in the air above the water.
Right after he waved his hand over the water, it started showing Charlotte's body in the hospital and the doctor's working on her and it was like she was watching everything happening on a big screen tv.
