The guys hung around backstage, meeting some of the fans that got lucky to get backstage to meet the bands that played at the festival.
Charlotte was amazed how some of the fans weren't just happy to meet their favorite rockstars but they were generally happy to meet the guy's girls too and was even wanting pictures with them too.
"I think it's so awesome how supportive these fans are, like most of them are just as happy to get pictures with you girls too." Charlotte smiled when Val walked over to get a drink since that's where she was standing.
"Oh I know, the first time a fan wanted a picture with me, I was shocked believe me." She grinned back. "I had to ask why they'd want a picture with me when I'm not the rockstar, these guys are." She motioned her hand towards the band.
"And what were you told?" Charlotte asked curiously, it was kinda a little frightening to her to know that fans might want pictures with her too since she was a nobody unlike the guys.
"If I remember correctly it was something along the lines that they didn't want to leave me out since I've pretty much helped the guys get where they are since before Larry was their manager, I was pretty much filling that role."
Charlotte thought back to when Johnny first joined the band and she vaguely remembered him mentioning that to her. Charlotte thought it was amazing how she wasn't not only Matt's girl but the backbone of the band, helping them get gigs and everything.
"So why are you over here by yourself and not mingling with anyone?"
"Oh uhm." She bit her bottom lip as she shrugged, if Val meant the fans like she thought, Charlotte didn't really feel like it was her place to.
Johnny and her hadn't even made it known they were anything but long time friends.
"I don't know, I guess I didn't want to impose myself into all of that." She waved her hand in the air towards what was happening around them as her and Johnny made eye contact and they couldn't help but smile at each other.
"Nah you wouldn't be, it does take time to get used to. But anyways, I take it that you and Johnny are good?"
Some fan grabbed his attention so Charlotte turned her attention back to Val and nodded, "Yeah, we are definitely good. As soon as their set was over, he pulled me away and he apologized like crazy. And at first I almost wasn't going to accept it, at least not yet because I wanted to make him suffer for a bit around me but fuck before I realized it, the words spilled out of my mouth that I forgave him." She giggled a little as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Awe, yeah when you care a lot about someone, it makes you do some things that seems out of your control."
"Mhm." She nodded her head as she tried her best not to stare towards Johnny with a small smile on her face.
"Have you told him how you feel?" Val asked as she glanced towards the guys then looked back at Charlotte.
"Told who?" Charlotte had a feeling who she was meaning but decided to play dumb.
"Duh, Johnny." She giggled out.
"Not fully, I mean I kinda did when we had gotten into that little fight over the phone, told him that I had always wanted more than friends with him so we'll see since I'm here on this tour." She sent her a smile and a wink.
She knew she could have just straight out told her right then and there that he had asked her to be his girlfriend, it's just that she wanted to tell Danielle first but she hadn't had a chance to talk to her since she's been engrossed with Jimmy and the fans, who have been taking up her attention.
