After Charlotte hung up on Johnny, part of him did feel bad about how he spoke to her but at the same time it made him mad that she swore she cared about him more than a friend should but yet she was going on a date with JJ. He thought that if she really did care for him the way she said she did, she wouldn't go out with someone else, even if it was JJ.
As he gripped his phone in his hand, he almost wanted to throw it but he knew that if he did then he'd more than likely have to get a new one and he didn't want to go through the trouble of doing that, especially since they were in a different country.
Johnny finished his cigarette and instead of disposing it and going inside, he lit another one up. He didn't feel like being around the guys and their girls, being all lovey dovey with each other, well except for Matt since Val wasn't with him yet.
He inhaled his cigarette and as he did, he heard someone's footsteps so he rubbed his hand down his face then looked over to see Jimmy approaching him.
"Hey short shit, you okay?" Jimmy figured there had to be something wrong if he was outside by himself and not inside with the rest of them.
"Could be better." Johnny shrugged out, he knew there was no use in trying to fake that nothing was wrong because Jimmy would be able to see right through that act.
"What's wrong man?" He furrowed his eyebrows as he sat down next to him.
"Don't worry about me Jimmy, go be with your girl, at least you have a loyal one." He bit out then sighed, that sounded less like an asshole in his head, "Sorry if that sounded like an asshole thing to say."
"Nah, it didn't." He shook his head then patted Johnny on the shoulder, "And you can tell me all you want not to worry but I will because I can tell when one of my brothers is upset and I don't like knowing they're upset." Jimmy then bumped his shoulder against Johnny's as he pulled out his own cigarette and lit it up then spoke as he exhaled the smoke, "So come on and get it off your chest by saying what's wrong, because doing that will make you feel better than bottling it up, trust me." He smiled slightly as he pointed his two fingers that held his cigarette at Johnny.
Johnny sat there smoking his cigarette and realized that Jimmy was right, it would probably make him feel better. Plus Jimmy might be able to give him some good advice on what he should do.
"It's just." Johnny took a deep breath and let it out, "I called Charlie a little bit ago and we got into it. And it's honestly my fault because I flipped out about the fact they're going on a date. We're only friends, but since we've been hooking up as that and then them going on this date, I just feel like I'm being used again. I mean granted the situation with Lacey was different but still I can't help but feel that way. And I just feel like I shouldn't be feeling this way nor be getting mad at her since we're not even together like that." He shrugged as he took another deep breath and let it out.
It was silent as they smoked their cigarettes, with Jimmy contemplating the right things to say. Johnny looked at his own cigarette and realized it was almost done so he put it in the cigarette container the hotel had then ran his hands down his face.
"So, maybe the reason you flipped out and feel like you're being used again is because you have feelings for this Charlie. I mean more deeper feelings for them than 'just friends'." He even used air quotes when he said just friends. "That makes perfect sense for you to freak out about them going out with someone else."
"What? That's absurd, no I don't, I can't have deeper feelings for Charlie. I mean hell it's too soon for that to happen because it's been what a month since I broke things off with Lace."
"Okay and? I'm not saying you love Charlotte, Charlie, but you do have deep feelings for her. And there's nothing wrong with that because things happen when we least expect it to. Hell I didn't know I'd meet and fall in love with Danielle as quick as I did but it happened because we can't control our feelings. So that would explain why you freaked out on the possibility that Charlotte, I mean Charlie, damnit." He smirked. "Is going out with someone else, it sparked some jealousy in you but just cause she is, doesn't mean it's anything serious between them. Maybe just testing the waters as the saying goes, but either way, you need to admit you like or even love her more than friends before it is too late. Just like she probably realized too late about her feelings for you when you got with Lacey and so now the opportunity came to her to make you feel what she had to feel seeing you go out with someone else. But before you can even do that, first things first, you need to apologize for being an ass towards her." He winked at him and it had Johnny wondering why he kept saying Charlotte, and wondered if he really did know that it was her that he was actually hooking up with.
