Charlotte woke up and realized today was the anniversary day of her brother passing away. She knew this year there wasn't a family breakfast like there had been the previous years so she sighed as she got out of bed to make herself some breakfast then get ready for the day because her and her family always made a point to visit Joey's grave together on this day.

She walked into the bathroom to take a shower and right as she sat her phone down on the counter and turned to the bathtub to turn on the water, her phone started ringing.

"Great." She picked it back up and seen it was her dad calling so she quickly answered it, "Hey dad what's up?"

"Hey sweetheart, you still able to make it for dinner tonight?"

"Yeah, of course. I made sure to get tonight off because of what day it is."

"Okay good. Look, we have the Seward's coming already, that includes Johnny. Anyways me and your mother was talking about we thought about making it just one big get together instead of just a small dinner party. So maybe you could call Johnny and ask him if he could invite the rest of the guys of Avenged along with their girls."

"Seriously dad? I thought this was supposed to be a celebration of Joey's life. They didn't even know him, well Johnny did but that's besides the point."

"Well sweetheart you don't know that. Even though he was in a grade above them, it's possible that they knew Joey since you all went to the same high school."

"Yeah, that's true, well I know Jimmy knew who Joey was because we've talked about it before. But wait, how do you know those guys even went to the same high school as us?"

"Because I have my ways." Charles smirked.

"So, are you guys going to the grave today?"

"I don't think so. I've got to go into the store here in a bit. You know how we feel about the whole thing, we don't need an anniversary date to visit his grave, we can do it any time of the year."

"Yeah I know. Just figured I'd ask."

"I know, but I've got to go. I'll see you later okay, love you."

"Love you too."

After they got off the phone, Charlotte took a quick shower then messaged Johnny to make sure he was awake and not busy. After he had messaged her back saying he was in fact awake and he wasn't busy, she decided to call him as that would be easier and quicker than talking through text messages.

"Hey, what's up? Everything okay?" He asked when he answered.

"Yeah, for the most part. Today is the anniversary of Joey's passing away, but I don't let it get to me anymore." She said as she sighed, "At least not as much as it use to anyways."

"Oh yeah, that is today huh." He sighed, "That means there's a dinner tonight at your parents house? My mom mentioned it to me and said our family was invited since we grew up with him."

"Yeah, well not really. That's part of the reason I called. I guess my parents decided to have more than just a small dinner. They're wanting to do like a big get together type thing. Anyways, are you and the guys, along with the girls, free this evening to come?"

"Oh I don't know about the guys but I had already planned on coming to the dinner."

"Okay, well can you call the guys and tell them they're invited? My dad asked if I'd ask you to invite them so that's what I'm doing."

She thought about asking if Lacey was coming with him but she really didn't want her there. And she definitely wasn't going to tell him that as she didn't want to make him mad and start questioning why that was even though she knew she could just flat out tell him how awkward it would be to face face her after Charlotte and Johnny have slept together. Plus she knew Lacey didn't like her so she didn't want any possible drama to happen.
