"Uh I think someone's in trouble." Jimmy smirked as he pulled into the driveway of Johnny's house.
"What do you mean?" Johnny leaned up between the front seats to see what he was talking about.
Jimmy pointed towards the house so they looked over and saw that Lacey was on the porch but it didn't look like she was mad. In fact, it looked like she was either getting ready to leave or was just coming home.
"Oh, well she should have known that I was going to be staying at the hospital with Charlotte. But she might still be a little upset about how she was treated." Johnny shrugged his shoulders, either way, part of him just didn't care at that moment.
He may love Lacey but Charlotte was one of his best friends and he didn't want to let her down by leaving last night, especially since it was mostly his fault that she was there in the first place.
"Hey you caught me just in time, I was actually getting ready to leave." Lacey spoke as Johnny got out of the car, "Was going to go grocery shopping. Hey you two." She smiled and waved a little as she looked towards Jimmy and Danielle.
"Hey." Jimmy and Danielle said back but Charlotte kept quiet since Lacey didn't even look her way as she said that.
And Johnny was getting ready to say something about that face when all of a sudden Lacey looked towards the back windows and smiled more while speaking to Charlotte.
"Oh hey Charlotte, how are you feeling? You doing better?"
"Uh yeah, I'm good." Charlotte looked at her a little confused which caused a small little giggle to come from Lacey as she leaned down on the window frame.
"Look, I know at first I acted like I didn't care for you and for that I'm sorry." She then looked towards Danielle, "Same goes for you too Danielle." She then looked back at Charlotte, "Despite what I think or feel, you're one of Johnny's best friends who has known him longer than I have anyways. But either way, I'm not going to come between you two, meaning I'm not going to tell him he can't be friends with you just because you're a fellow girl. After what happened yesterday, I could tell he was worried about you and I do think that's amazing, it's hard to find friends that are loyal like that."
"Oh, well thank you. And I do appreciate you saying that because he is one of my best friends just like these two are." Charlotte motioned towards Danielle and Jimmy. "And I swear that's all we are, I'll be honest, yes I do love him but again, I love him like I love my sister, just like I love Danielle and I've grown to love this goofball here." She smiled as she ruffled the back of Jimmy's head.
"Hey, no touchy the hair geez." Jimmy playfully scoffed as he leaned away from her which caused them all to laugh.
"Anyways, are you guys staying?" Lacey questioned. "Because I need to go do a little grocery shopping before I have to work this evening."
"Well if you want, I'll go with you to the store." Johnny suggested, there's been other times she's asked if he wanted to go and he's turned her down, but most of the times it was only cause he had other priorities because of the band.
"I don't know about these two but I hadn't planned on it." Charlotte shook her head slightly, which Johnny kinda didn't blame her for not wanting to stay, despite what Lacey had said to her.
"I can't because like you, I also have to work this evening." Danielle sighed.
"I would but I'm these two ladies chauffeur." Jimmy shrugged with a smile. "Can't leave them stranded."
"Who says we would be stranded? See we could always leave you stranded by stealing your car." Charlotte joked with a wink.
Jimmy than gasped in a playful manner then playfully whined, "No, stealing my car, that's not cool man."
