Robert Downey Jr. Imagine

Since Robert has been working so much for the last few months every moment you get to spend together is very important to the both of you. He would ask you to fly in every time he missed you, but you couldn’t. Your job was just as busy, but you still had the weekends off, so finally you had the chance to fly and see Robert. It wasn’t  a long flight but to you and Robert also, it felt like for ever. Soon you were with him, back in his arms, back together. 

The first thing Robert wanted was for you to see the set. He wanted you to meet the new people who were joining since you already knew everyone else. Robert wanted you to give your opining on the work he had already done, and by no surprise at all you loved it. Every one had worked very hard and had already achieve greatness. After meeting everyone and seeing the set Robert took you out for dinner, like always he managed to surprise you with the dinner. He had rented out the whole restaurant, so the two of you could have some actual alone time. It was unbelievably romantic. 

“I love you” Robert said kissing your hand and smiling at you 

“I love you too” you said leaning in and giving him a kiss. 

“I missed your kisses” he always managed to make you blush, even after all these years of knowing each other and dating. To you he was the most amazing man there was. Even if you told him you didn’t need these expensive dates or all the gifts he sends you, Robert still does all of it, sometimes it seems like he’s trying to top himself. 

The dinner was simple but very elegant. You talked about so many things, it was never boring when you two were together. Robert and you then took a long walk to his house, the city light looked so beautiful and magical. Robert even stopped you to dance under the night sky. You two pretty much danced till his house. The next morning you woke up before Robert and since his house was by the beach you decided to have your morning coffee in the beach sand. You hadn’t been there too long when you heard Robert coming to you

“There’s my beautiful girlfriend” he said sitting down next you, he kissed you and looked at the sea. You two sat like that for a while not saying a word just enjoying the view and each other 

“I have a idea” Robert spoke moving closer to you. He gave you another kiss before telling you his idea. An idea you never thought he would say “how about we get married” shocked was all over your face. 

“What?” you asked with a slight laugh. To be totally honest you had no idea if he was joking or not. 

“Yeah, I mean we love each other, we live together already and well I want you to be my wife” it was so casual, so simple, yet it made so happy. “So what do you say?” 

“Sure why not” you answered as simple as you could, Robert smiled as leaned in for kiss, that meant more then the ones you had before. Then you both turned back to the view. The proposal may have been simple but you knew the wedding wasn’t going to be simple. You realized that when you both got to his set and Robert called a staff meeting to announce your engagement. Every single person who worked on that set was called to hear the big news. 

You couldn’t stop smiling, not only because of the fact you’ll be marrying the love of your life in few months, but seeing Robert smile so big. Seeing his eyes shine every time he talked about it. Seeing someone be so excited to marry you that their cheeks are about to explode from all the smiling. That made you happy, he was so right for you, so perfect. You just couldn’t wait to start your family and repay him for all the good he has ever done for you.
