Being part of the MCU was interesting to say the least. Your character was a villain-turned-antihero, a role you liked more than any other project you’d been a part of. The fans were amazing, too; very enthusiastic when it came to their favorite characters. Then there were your costars. They were—entertaining in the best way. Especially Robert, who glommed onto you your first day and took you under his wing.

Now you’re close to all your costars, but Robert went above and beyond when it came to you. He declared himself your “father away from home,” giving you a nickname and everything. He even went so far as to introduce you to his family at one point. How it got to that point, you’ll never know. It happened too fast anyway. But you appreciate the time and effort he puts in with you, just like you do for all of your costars. They’re all like a weird family you didn’t know you needed.

And an appearance with Robert and Chris Evans on Jimmy Fallon showed just that.

“So, people have been going nuts over this,” Jimmy exclaimed, pulling up a picture of an instagram post. It was a candid photo of you and Chris holding beers, the two of you sitting across from each other and talking. “The caption says ‘(Y/N/N) and Evans are so grounded,’” he added with a chuckle.

You smiled, giving your own light chuckle. “It was the last day of filming,” you stated, “and Chris and I went out with Robert and a few others to celebrate. Downey over here,” you motion to the older man beside you, “doesn’t think I should be drinking. He thinks I’m too young.”

“They are,” Robert chimed in, giving you a playfully pointed look. “I’m technically their father away from home, you know? Their celebrity dad. Gotta keep ’em out of trouble.”

“The second I stepped foot on set, he adopted me.” Your smile broadened. “They all did, honestly, but I never stood a chance when it came to Robert.”

Chris laughed. “She looked so surprised when Robert approached her,” giving his friend a nudge. Robert nodded, giving your shoulder a comforting squeeze. “He started introducing her to everyone and telling her what to expect,” Chris continued. “She looked like she was about to faint.”

“I was just about to,” you laughed. “I was in a studio with all my favorite actors and Robert Downey Jr. just walks up and gives me the rundown on everything. It was overwhelming.”

“It’s gotta be nice, though,” Jimmy stated, “for your ‘celebrity dad’ to be Tony Stark.”

“It’s awesome! You know, I never expected it. But I gotta say that I’m really happy I’ve met all of them, they’re like my other family.” You looked at Chris and Robert with a grateful smile before looking back at Jimmy. “I can’t say I’d be where I am today without them.”
