Familiar faces, etched in memories
so dear,
Plans unanticipated, dreams entwined
with cheer,
Places where laughter and joy did
never end,
With friends by your side, your hearts to blend.Believe in the bond that you share
so true,
Through memories that glow like
sunsets new,
Through moments serene like the dawn's
first light,
Misunderstandings that turn to smiles so bright.People you grew up with, playing games
with glee,
Brought to your house, hiding,
happy and carefree,
Playing outside, without your parents' permission,
Moments that formed bonds, deep in affection.Creating memories that last a lifetime,
Telling others how they are the best,
oh so fine,
But when you needed them, they weren't there,
No shoulder to cry on, no one to share. When you cried out loud for their comforting embrace,
They were nowhere to be found, not a trace,
Yet you still call them "My best friend,"
Accustomed to it, like it would never end.Remember, they may not be there
in your strife,
Just in the happy moments of your life,
I tell you, no more "best friend" to defend,
They're only there for happy times,
in the end.Wake up, my dear, you're not a child anymore,
It's time to reassess, to explore,
You deserve friends who ask how you mend,
Your best friends are only there for happy moments, my friend.
